"Well, if you say you gets fired, it always has to be the top."

As the White House on Friday refused to accept any responsibility for the government shutdown that will result if Democrats and Republicans cannot agree on a spending deal before midnight, remarks made by citizen Donald Trump in 2013 reveals what he thought then about the role of presidential leadership during a similar political crisis under President Barack Obama.

"I mean problems start from the top and they have to get solved from the top," Trump said of Obama during the interview with Fox News. "And the president's the leader. And he's got to get everybody in a room and he's got to lead."

As the shutdown crisis consumes Capitol Hill on Friday, there is no shortage of political observers who blame the debacle largely on Trump's outrageous "shithole" remarks last week, his inability to navigate the choppy partisan waters, and a failure to grasp the policy dynamics that have created the current impasse.

This government has sucked for decades. Please shut it down and never open it back up again.

Unfortunately the type of shutdowns this article addresses only shutdown the parts of the gubmit that benefit the 99%. The 1% continue to get gubmit by the 1% of the 1% and for the 1%.

Although the media keeps calling Trump a private citizen when he made the 2013 comments, Trump was the de facto leader of the birther movement that produced some of the fakest of the fake news that the GOP, Faux network, and Trump initiate.

This is nothing new. Who else remembers Jon Stewart hosting the “debate” between Candidate Obama and President Obama? It was painfully hilarious—and all too common.

If Trump wants the wall let him pay for it. Nothing spells “freedom” as a wall to close us all in. It did not work for China it will not work for the US. If walls are the problem the nation needs to tear down all those walls it has erected in the psyche of the nation: I refer to the original crimes of genocide and slavery which continue to reverberate at home and in foreign wars abroad. If immigration is the problem what is stopping Trump and his ilk from packing their bags and leaving the US since they are not indigenous to this land?

Trump will deny he ever said those words. The voice on the tape isn’t him.

He weighs 239 pounds and he’s 6’3".

And being a citizen of this government also makes us part of #TheBowelMovement.

So according to Trump … we should blame Trump. I can’t believe it, but I am agreeing with Trump for a change and I will be happy to blame the most horrific president I have ever known in my life for the current mess. I can’t believe it but Republicans control both houses of congress and the White House and they blame the Democrats for the shutdown. Line them up to get spanked.
