Hoisting the False Flag

Hoisting the False Flag

Stephen Kinzer

Brave Guatemalan air force pilots rebelled against a leftist regime in 1954 and used their planes to bomb the regime’s bases. Army commanders also rebelled; Guatemalans could hear them directing troop movements over the radio. Finally these patriots won their revolution. The United States trumpeted their victory around the world.

True, as far as it goes. Unfortunately, untold millions accept as truth everything that comes from Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, Sinclair affiliates and the rest.

In service to creating instability in the Mideast, there is no tactic the US won’t deploy.

Not sure if the Tonkin incident can be classed as a false flag op.

Everyone knows that Assad ordered those self-driving, self-detonating, chemical-weapons filled incubators into Douma.

Oh yes, weapons of mass distraction. Lol

Yes. And, let’s not forget the USS Liberty false flag (fail) where Israel attacked a US Naval ship in open waters of the Mediterranean during the Six-Day War killing 34 crew members and wounding 171 in an attempt to sink the ship and provoke Johnson to enter the war on the Israeli side. Crew members fought valiantly off the sea and air attack and lived to tell about it, but Johnson and Israeli apologists managed to cover it up.

Yes, because its not like the great man-of-the-people Assad has any documented record of using chemical weapons or anything…

Kinda like the peace-loving petrol oligarch helping Assad is always a victim of the MIC because he just wants peace!!! Norm Solomon tells me so.

Yeah, but criticize Assad here and you instantly become an advocate of a US invasion and takeover of Syria.

There is something very ominous going on with the US left - it is adopting much of the authoritarianism and nutty conspiratorialism of Lyndon Larouche (yes, he is still alive) and of the fascist Orthodox-fanatic Alexandr Dugin who has been called “Putin’s Brain”.

yeah but self-driving, self-detonating, chemical-weapons filled incubators into Douma. is cause for a chuckle.

Worse, the propagandists protect themselves against this by ensuring “ordinary” people see those who see the truth as unpatriotic or “conspiracy theorists”. Humans don’t like it when they stand out from the herd. So they avoid saying or doing things that make them targets in this way.

He doesn’t. There are accusations, just like this one, but supporting one accusation on the fact that previous unproven allegations have been made is hardly due process.

A good example of the way that critics are silenced by being added to the witch hunt. I have a friend (let’s call him “Kiwi”) who helped some Asian lads who were being bullied by white men at the firm where he worked. “Paki-lover” those white racists called him, though naturally they would deny being racists. That’s how the bullies intimidate those who won’t join the hunting pack.

Capitalism is the ultimate casus belli.

I’d be VERY careful about asserting human identity in terms of herd. That mashes an entire plethora of assumptions that you will be called upon to substantiate!

I believe the warmongering technocrats use the term “crisis initiation” for the phrase false flag.
