House GOP’s Proposed "Fix" for Health Bill Prioritizes Tax Cuts for Richest

Brandon DeBot

In their updated health bill, House Republicans are doubling down on their plan to cut taxes for high-income households while cutting health insurance for mostly low- and moderate-income households — speeding up tax cuts for the very richest people so they take effect in 2017, rather than 2018.

The only true way to reform healthcare is to socialize the whole system, taking all profit motive out of it and turning into a 'single payer system'. The drugs need to stop advertising on TV, which they spend more on than research. The fees could be on a sliding scale and the wealthy would have more deducted from their pay % wise than the working poor. This would reduce costs overall and if they want to make profit get into another business that doesn't threaten people with devastating financial ruin. This can work if idiots running things can quit being afraid of the word socialism.
