Yes, the $908B falls short of the needs of the People but does exceed the reported $748B for DoD (a number I question, but that’s another matter). But SARS-CoV-2 which causes Covid-19 is our greatest enemy at this time and should be treated as such. The funding should be much more and should have come much more timely. The impact of Covid-19 has disproportionately impacted many people of color and politics has surely affected the response. We must put United into USA or we are a failed nation. We desperately need the Progressive politicians and those who support them to do some heavy lifting to do so.
Thanks to Trump’s chaos loving mind, he has set people on unemployment back financially. Now because of Trump’s stunt there will be a break in collecting their benefits, instead of a continuation, and force them to re-apply. For states that are already struggling, and have laid off employees because of finances, who knows how long that process will take.
There are no Progressive politicians, merely Progressives who have not yet been elected, …and corrupted.
