There are better ways to spend economic development dollars. Cities that bend over backward to lure the tech giant may end up on the losing end.

Amazon’s presence in Seattle has spurred some of the highest housing costs in the world. Rather than getting dazzled by the prospect of a “win,” cities would do well do ask “for whom?”


America has become a giant corporate auction house.


Who buys all that stuff, I guess I live in a Sanford and Son economy.


It appears that all of our local elected officials refuse to look at Amazon’s labor record or how it is a growing monopoly. We are in big trouble, desperate but also short sighted and selfish as a nation.
