The âjudicial systemâ can never provide justice as long as they are the ones overseeing crimes committed by their own members.
The enforcement arm , that being the Police, are best friends with the Judges and prosecutors and other police forces that are supposed to keep them in check.
It never works. they will always try to clear their buddies.

Enough should be enough but here we are stillâŚA recent proposal put forward was that black communities in cities throughout the US America need to start the non cooperation by first refusing to pay rent as a downpayment on reparations. Those of us outside these communities support them in their efforts with food and getting local organic farmers, black farmers, to join in this effort. From black communities it should spread to other underserved and oppressed groups.
Way past time we muster the courage to walk away from this racist, unequal, oppressive system of exploitation. Life was meant to be lived!

The local Cleveland city mayor, city council, legal team and prosecutor signed off on 6 million dollar âsorryâ.
One of the two police had just been fired by a nearby city. Unsuited for this work.
Today, the federal DOJ provides us BS for the non indictment reason. What if there was no film at all, which is usual?
Want better police? Go to licensing. Same as dentists, nurses, doctors, barbers, hairdressers, lawyers. Make it 2 year community college curriculum at a minimum, maybe four years with degree.

Why a movement must insist and agitate for community control of all cops throughout US America. This is an old idea. The community hires, disciplines and fires these cops. The only way to make sure they are from the communities they patrol.

Same is true here up in Canada. Police always investigate the Police and unless it blatant and indisputable (ie it recorded) they usually find no fault.

This is incidentally what we continue to be plagued with because we, the people, are too afraid to address this en masse. The courts donât get a chance, the executioner is denied, the family and friends have no singular power. I think this being unattended to will allow it to keep growing.
The previous protests around the nation for the BLM movement stopped half way.

Who are they kidding? I saw that video as did millions of other people. There was no doubt that the cop car just rolled up on Tamir Rice, opened the door and shot him. Thatâs it. No discussion, no nothing, just shot him. This was one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen from police and itâs all right there on the video.

I watched the film of the whole thing, both from a surveillance camera and Iâm not actually certain of who took the other. There was absolutely no question as to how this was perpetrated. What the hell did they do to the film to make it grainy and unwatchable? It was quite clear and sharp when it was aired on TV and, I think Twitter.
Tamir was sitting on the bench when the police car pulled up. He got up and started walking toward the police car. His hands were empty. The car doors opened, the driver bailed out of the car, the other cop pushed his door open, jumped out, behind the door, and immediately fired. Tamir went down, the one cop stayed behind the door, his gun on Tamirâs body. The driver went way around until he was behind Tamirâs body, and just stood there with his gun pointing at Tamir. There was no time to tell Tamir to stop, or to raise his hands, or anything else. It was just come in fast, hit the brakes, open the door, jump out and fire. In the same amount of time it took you to read that last sentence.
Justice? As Scrooge said, "Bah, Humbug!

That is pretty much it. Here in Canada there a push for Police to wear body cameras. Notwithstanding the fact that Police in the USA will suddenly turn it off and forget about it , the Public here is in favor so as to have proper oversight.
There was a case some years ago where a mentally ill man was shot dead by the Police and they claimed he was running towards them swinging a heavy chain or some such when they shot.
Some months later a video taken by a tourist of the incident and forgotten by him was released. It showed the mentally ill man unarmed and on his hands and knees with the Police all in a circle around him before he was shot.

The police are there to protect the wealthy----just like the âjusticeâ system geared to help the wealthy and screw the common people.
Remember Kalief Browder accused of stealing a back packârefused to plead guilty and spent 2 yrs in Rikersâin solitary confinement-he killed himself.

I find this headline misleading. While the decision did happen under Trump, the US justice department devaluation of Black lives goes well beyond Trumpâs time in office. In fact, the murder of Tamir Rice was in 2014, and the DOJ process started under Obama.
What I find disturbing as well is how now, with Biden coming into office, the outpouring of quite folk in the streets, in support of Black Lives Matter, has all but vanished. It gives the impression that liberal white folk arenât so concerned about Black Lives if the President is a Democrat.

The US DOJ action is yet another example of why it is better to have Democrats in office than Republicans, I can still remember how seriously the Obama DOJ took police violence.

Police lies matter - far more than justice truth, accountability and honor in Amerika. Cops trained to kill in foreign wars or incompetence must be weeded-out! How many times must we witness cop murders with zero accountability or consequences?
People of color and the poor are targets for depraved indifference and training to kill as the first and usually only response to any call for help to cops - one must be crazy to call cops for almost any reason; they will likely shoot and kill the caller or other innocent!! A âsystemâ designed to victimize the innocent!
No Justice, NO Peace! Until police are made to be held accountable, prosecutors are civilians first, not just cops in suits, cop unions forced to comply, and training totally reformed, more innocent people will die by cop bullets and their zero concern for the lives of others1 ENOUGH!

Mayor Jacksonâs gotta go. He should have gone at the end of his THIRD term. And it is way past time to burn the police department to the effing ground, for real. They wonât clean house, the president of the police union is a vile prick, and the poor and minority community is suppressed and ignored eight years later.
