In an apple/tree tale of bizarre juxtapositions, Woody Guthrie rented a Brooklyn apartment in 1950 from one Fred Trump, a racist, sketchy, low-income housing profiteer who later taught everything he knew to his appalling son Donald. Despising Trump and his use of FHA guidelines banning “inharmonious uses of housing” – aka integration - Woody wrote a bitter song decrying "Just how much/Racial hate/(Trump) stirred up/(In) human hearts."
