A group called Grannies Respond, or Abuelas Responden, kicked off a 2,000-mile journey from New York City to McAllen, Texas on Tuesday to protest President Donald Trump's policy under which immigration officials separated thousands of migrant children from their parents in a cruel effort to deter asylum-seekers.

This is so stupid. This isn’t Trump’s policy, it was enacted by William Jefferson Clinton in his 2nd term.

And George W. Bush enforced it
And Barak Obama enforced it
And Donald Trump is enforcing it.

So over 18 years LATER, suddenly it’s a BIG PROBLEM because you don’t want to protest Obama bombing 7 nations in 8 years, or turning Libya into the most stable African nation to one in civil war that has slavery markets - nor do you want to protest a president that broke the Geneva Conventions to LIE us into a war in Iraq which is still in civil war, you need to protest this - a policy that was enacted 3 prezdidents ago…
