If You Think the Economy is Improving, You Probably Don’t Work in a Public School

Well, hey. The Latest Great Recession is supposed to be ending, the rising tide lifting all the boats back to where we were in 2007, before Wall Street blew a hole in the bottom of the ocean.

So why do so many people who work in schools feel as if they are sitting at the bottom of the bay?

Dubya and Obama's No Banker Left Behind program that followed Dubya's No Child Left Behind (actually left a dime is more like it) has consumed $20 plus trillion taxpayer dollars at the expense of the Main Street economy upon which education funding is dependent.

Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos and other oligarchs who own politicians are pushing to replace public schools with charter schools wherever they can make a profit on charters.
