Ignoring Calls for Peace Effort, Pence Refused to Engage With North Koreans at Olympic Games

Jessica Corbett, staff writer

Despite global calls for #KoreanPeace and hopes that U.S. Vice President Mike Pence would use his trip to South Korea for the 2018 Olympic Winter Games to engage in diplomatic talks to ease rising tensions with North Korea, Pence remained icy toward the country's delegation.

Pinhead Pence on the wrong side of every issue.

Even Trump would have been less churlish than Mike “Bring on Armageddon” Pence.

Pence is a reflection of most evangelicals: mannerless mental midgets with the maturity level of tweenies.

Pence the War Monger. I hope Mueller takes him down, too.

It probably wouldn’t do any harm for Mr. Pence to just go over the total mere 250 or so pages of the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. If in doing so he should happen to fully comprehend the teachings of Jesus regarding peace and loving our enemies, the words may bring him to tears of remorse.

Every time I watch him on the tube, he seems to be auditioning for his own bobble head doll.

Pence is an ultra right wing fundy Christian idiot totally unqualified to be a Vice President. America needs to refuse to accept Pence. He is so far right wing that he is off the scale for regular American politics.

“human progress must 'cease to resemble that hideous pagan idol, who would not drink the nectar but from the skulls of the slain”

Pence is displaying many of the worst traits of Americans, including arrogance, smug self-righteousness, prideful ignorance, aggressiveness, obstinacy and hypocrisy, on display for all the World to see! The takeaway from his statements and his rudeness is simply this: The United States Government does not want peace, it wants war, perpetual war

This does not mean to say that most Americans want war, but they have no say in what their Government does anymore

His type of “faux-Christian” tend to ignore the social gospel of Jesus, preferring the harsh admonitions of Paul, and, especially, the violence and gore of Revelation.

Well, that’s the point, isn’t it? If he helps peace along, he stops the end of the world - and religious whack jobs like him couldn’t allow that.

They vote for it. It seems more Americans want war than peace.

Any Christian could tell you the answer - love your enemy. And since it is America which is the enemy of North Korea, ever since it bombed it to smithereens 70 years ago (a crime it threatens to repeat now) it was the Koreans who displayed a more Christian attitude than “I am Infallible” Pence this week.

He probably has one thought running through his diseased head all the time:

“Can’t’ wait see these heathen bastards roasting in a pit of hellfire! Yee haw!”

Strong men without souls do not speak to lowly humans they are about to obliterate. Everybody that ever watched a western movie knows that.
