Ignoring Warnings That His Lies Could Get People Killed, Trump Posts 46-Minute Election Rant Full of 'Unhinged' Falsehoods

Only points out that the man construed “winning” in strictly personal terms.

And for his supporters? Have they grown tired of so much “winning” yet?

I agree.

Losing battered his ego, and his humiliation was intensified by being nearly the only Republican in the country to lose.

The problem is that until January 20th, his is still the president, and Democrats’ condemnations over the last 4 years have done nothing to stop him. Taking any real action against him now is a provocation that he is waiting for. I fear this is already far out of their hands.

I agree this is a very likely a setup, and you are right about him not conceding for the said reasons. However many in “his base” must be shaken up and disillusioned by his constant lies and total losses in the courts of law. The republican heads of states and republican voting regulators standing up for truth instead of trump is another nail in trump’s coffin for a possible 2024 election run. He’ll be ridiculed and humiliated from the start. Hopefully by then Biden will have done enough for the rural America to yank away that sector. I am sure the youth, the non clannish whites and the people of color will have organized and further consolidated their base against WASP racist, fascist agenda.

Yes, but the only way that could ever happen is if ALL CORPORATE ADVERTISERS boycotted Trump’s insanity.

“Someone is going to get hurt, someone is going to get shot, someone is going to get killed, and it’s not right,” said Sterling.

I would hope that Mr. Sterling is wrong, but I have to admit he may be correct.

Yes, and that is exactly what Trump is counting on from the spineless Democrats which will then enable him to engage in more heated rhetoric which will fire up his fanatical and easily manipulated supporters. And by doing this the corporate media and the pusillanimous Democrats continue to underestimate Trump at their own peril. As the well written article in the link below informs the reader, it would be a serious mistake to underestimate the fascist rhetoric of Donald Trump and the effect that it has on his loyal and emotional base and to think that Trump has any intention of going gently into that good night.

I agree. Some say that Trump will hide out in Mar Logo over the holidays and never return to D.C. still claiming the election was fraudulent.

I think this is missing the story. It was a Mein Kampf speech and I think people are too complacent about the remaining possibility of a putsch. The Trots have a better take in this instance.

Trump is using the same MO he’s used most of his life, trained first by Daddy Fred Trump and then by Roy Cohn. Fight back with countersuits, deny any wrongdoing, when shot down in court, appeal and file a countersuit. Soap, rinse, repeat. It’s how Daddy Fred got out of the discrimination lawsuit against his apartment management firm in the early 70’s. It’s how Donnie has gotten out of other messes, like his casino fiasco in Atlantic City(he built three casinos that competed with each other, guaranteeing failure, when the Gaming Commission never even certified two of them). Because of this MO, authorities have avoided bringing him to justice.
Instead, the media lionized him, covering his various affairs and social activities, praising his real estate and financial prowess. Meanwhile, he was bleeding money so badly that the family trust cut him off, and banks put him on a monthly allowance. He STILL went on his merry way, going to dodgy sources for money.
So…he will never concede. He will push and push and push until someone, somewhere, finally snaps and either has him certified and medicated, or finally brought up on numerous charges, arrested, and placed in jail without bail. Let him bring on his lawsuits; his cronies will find someone new for their plans.

I’ve been watching trump play this out over the last four years. Every time he is accused of a wrong dealing he immediately blames the same thing on somebody else. Completely hiding his guilt by transference.
He is so thinly veiled that he is obvious to many.
Guess which part gets coverage on Fox Noise.

The Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Pentagon have made it abundantly clear that they will not back his coup. He can insight his rag tag followers but they have no organized militia. Even if they did, a unified Armed forces could easily take them out. His rag tag followers are dangerous and will terrorize but they are not poised to take over the country.

So where were these Republican “heroes” when their party was implementing every form of voter suppression their devious little minds could conceive of?

Oh, but that was “nonviolent”, y’see …

You very well may be right though one hopes that the media and the Democrats are not complacent enough, in the six weeks before Biden is sworn in, to think that Trump will not try something in order to remain in power.

The individual is simply deranged. I would not waste the time to read one of his tweets let alone listen to him for the quarters of an hour of his fantasies.

You know that if we were going to be continually be lied to by our president he would at least give us the respect to not suck at it. This is totally insulting!

That would cost him his podium and he needs the audience as much as he needs food and water.

Biden already has a platform with more money healthcare especially in states that have not already increased Medicaid, and a jobs program, and a $15 minimum wage. I was delighted to see it, and I have high hopes that it will make many low wage workers happy with the raise and fringe benefit they will get from it. I am already retired on Social Security, so I won’t be getting a minimum wage job out of it, but I certainly hope many low wage workers will benefit, which should benefit much of our population, including families of workers getting such jobs and small business owners who sell something to such workers.
