Not often does good news come on International Human Rights Day—December 10. It is mostly a somber occasion, a day to reflect on the values of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948) and a day to bemoan the gap between those values and our reality.
It’s not hard to imagine an Earth without war—as Earth and Earth life would be respected and societies would flourish. There are enough wonderful things in and on the Earth that all could share and all lives would be improved-----------if only GREED was not worshiped
