IMF Report Admits IMF's Obsession with Capitalism Is Killing Economies

“… that is, a limited bank account…”

Yes. We need (among other limits) a wealth cap. No one should be allowed to accumulate more “personal” wealth than would be the lifetime earnings of an individual earning minimum wage.

Also they see their dream of a NWO / PNAC is swiftly evaporating. They are truly going to become desperate to impose their version of “security”.

When my brother started working, the minimum wage was $1.65/hour.

Adjusted for inflation, that’s nearly $20/hour in today’s $USD.

“$15 NOW!” is right, $15 now and not in five years, and $15 now and then up from there.

I don’t know about that. Except for Iran and Syria they’ve destabilized every country they wanted. They claimed they were trying to establish capitalist democracies but it’s obvious that’s not what happens. And since “Death Squad” Negroponte set Sunni against Shia in Iraq, you’ve got to wonder if things aren’t working out exactly as planned.

We can see getting rid of Assad will result in an ISIS ruled Syria but they’re still pushing to get rid of him.

The neocons figure as long as the Sunni and Shia are fighting each other they aren’t uniting against Israel.

Walter, though your points (and your humor) are great, the problem is not strictly speaking the USA per se, but is precisely caused by the Disguised Global Crony-Capitalist EMPIRE, which merely ‘poses’ as, and in HQed in, our former country.

We are now all ‘subjects’ of this Disguised Global Empire (fueled by totally corrupt crony-capitalism, which privatizes all faux-profits created by dumping ‘negative externality costs’ which are ‘socialized’ on; the public, all governments of the world, and the global environment).

Global organizations like the; IMF, ECB, FED, World Bank, et al. are simply elements of the Global Empire’s ‘Financial-sector’, as NATO and the U.S. Military are elements of the Empire’s ‘Militarist-sector’, and the TNCs are elements of the Global Empire’s ‘Corporate-sector’.

So, picking on the various ‘sectors’ and their specific offenses (as this short sighted article does) merely focuses on subordinate sectors of the high-integrated (but well disguised) six-sectored; corporate, financial
, militarist, media/propaganda, extra-legal, and particularly the dual-party Vichy-political sector of theunderLYING EMPIRE — and such minor complaints, angry discussion, debate, protest, and disjointed supposedly progressive-lite ‘actions’ of popular resistance actually divide, distract, and keep the people from understanding or ever being able to unify their thoughts, recognition, and actions against the only, single, unified, hidden, and deadly cancerous tumor of this damn Disguised Global Crony-Capitalist EMPIRE.

Great going guys in keeping the Empire’s deadly disguise intact and secure in the Empire’s ruling-elite control by the TCC (transnationalist capital classes) who run this damn Disguised Global Crony-Capitalist EMPIRE, as Robinson so clearly defines below:

The U.S. state is a key point of condensation for pressures from dominant groups around the world to resolve problems of global capitalism and to secure the legitimacy of the system overall. In this regard, “U.S.” imperialism refers to the use by transnational elites of the U.S. state apparatus to continue to attempt to expand, defend, and stabilize the global capitalist system. We are witness less to a “U.S.” imperialism per se than to a global capitalist imperialism. We face an EMPIRE of global capital , headquartered, for evident historical reasons, in Washington."
