With respect to my comment regarding arrests and legal bills, what I wanted to communicate is that we, in the US, may had down a road in which criminalization of dissent and arrests reach a par with what is taking place in countries such as Turkey and Egypt, where people, who have not even participated in demonstrations, are arrested, and in some cases held without charge, solely as a result of having been identified, by unnamed accusers, of having communicated 'treasonous' thoughts.

The movement for social justice must also include progressives, committed to the long term struggle, who analyze, organize, prepare, plan, and establish democratic control in our local communities as well.
