Informant Provided Bomb-Making Manual to Alleged “ISIS-Inspired” Plotters

Murtaza Hussain, The Intercept

In what has been widely described in the media as the break-up of an “ISIS-inspired” plot, on April 2nd the Department of Justice announced that Noelle Velentzas, 28, and Asia Siddiqui, 31, both of New York, had been arrested and charged with conspiracy to use a weapon of mass destruction. The defendants “plotted to wreak terror by creating explosive devices” for use in New York City, and the two sought “bomb-making instructions and materials” for an attack, the Justice Department statement said.

I feel so much more safe knowing that the FBI and local police are converting moderate dissidents into radicals, and supplying them with bomb making directions and materials.

Before it comes a reality, maybe we could have a TV series where the FBI, CIA, State police, Homeland Security, and local police are all trying to entrap each other in an ever escalating series of plots of a "radical group", of which all of the members are police informers from the various departments, unknown to each other. The season finale would be the bust where SWAT teams from all of the agencies arrive at once to arrest each other.

If you happen to be a rather dark skinned, dark haired amerikan citizen, you may want to go out and buy a gallon of day glow white body paint, some blonde hair coloring and a set of blue contact lenses. Because as a dark skinned, dark haired amerikan citizen you will be arrested by the FBI and called a jihadist. But getting arrested as a white, blonde haired , blued eyed amerikan citizen, you will probably be let off with a slap on the wrist and will be called an outstanding amerikan christian! BTW it might help to keep a copy of the Turner Diaries in your car for extra effect when encountering racist amerikan law enforcement officers!

I guess there aren't enough real terrorists to keep the FBI busy so they have to keep manufacturing them.

Only in America could a rogue agency hatch a terrorist plot then stop it then demand recognition and a pat on the back.

The sooner the FBI terrorists are put in jail the better. FBI = Feral Bumbling Idiots

I think the funniest was Portland OR
Portland librarians were refusing compliance with the Patriot Act in turning over user search data.
The FBI spent 1&1/2 years making a moderately disenfranchised kid into a bomber, taught him, provided an informant to sell bomb parts, etc, and when he went to bomb the Christmas tree lighting at the Portland library they "caught" him. Message to Library perchance?

It's even worse than that. The bomber wanted go to Alaska and the FBI stopped him at the airport. So, to reward the FBI for keeping their entrapped 'terrorist' in Portland, this February the Portland City Council agreed to start cooperating with the FBI's anti-terrorism task force.

"A divided Portland City Council on Thursday blessed police involvement in an FBI-led anti-terrorism task force, clarifying the convoluted relationship it created in 2011, with Mayor Charlie Hales' casting the swing vote and reversing his previous opposition from more than a decade ago.

Citing a need for better collaboration to ensure public safety, the City Council voted 3-2 to assign two officers to the Joint Terrorism Task Force. The decision reverses Portland's outlier status nationally as the only big city that doesn't assign officers to participate on a full-time basis."
