'Infuriating': Trump FCC Refusing to Release Data Showing If Telecom Industry Being Truthful About Internet Speeds

Jessica Corbett, staff writer

Under Trump-appointee Ajit Pai, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has continued a program to track whether major companies like AT&T, Comcast, Spectrum, and Verizon are providing their promised internet speeds, but has failed to publish any of its findings—concealment that has raised alarm among tech reporters and former agency officials.

Hmmm FCC,
I always thought FCC stood for Federal Communications Collusions, or maybe Feeble Communications Committee, or Freaky Colluding Club… or Failing Citizens Completely----a person would think that without a level playing field that there can’t be any free speech. Is the FCC dissing the First Amendment?

Someone should sit that Pai man down and remind him that he’s not in Kansas anymore!

P1: If they have done nothing wrong, they have nothing to fear from disclosure.
P2: They appear to fear disclosure.
C: Apparently they have done something wrong.

Of COURSE they have done “something wrong!” Liar, Liar, pants on fire! “After the Revolution” we must remember to make “lobbying” and “marketing” capital offenses.

Seems like a public (federal) agency’s information not having to do with national security (?) Should be information available to the public ? What’s,wrong with this picture ? SNAFU!
