Internal DHS Report Puts Trump's Border Wall Cost at $21.6 Billion

Andrea Germanos, staff writer

An internal report from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security seen by Reuters puts the cost for President Donald Trump's proposed "wall" along the U.S.-Mexico border at up to $21.6 billion, far higher than the estimates put forth by Trump or Republican leadership.

Growing up very close to the Mexican border, this is no way to treat our good friends, and neighbors the Mexican People. Think of the money saved, and the friends made if we tear down the Secured Fence of 2006, eliminate the Department of Homeland Security, and tell Trump to F-Off on his idiotic wall.

If they break ground for construction we need a Standing Rock/ DAPL style protest on the border.

Walls separate people.

Walls enforce nation states.

Nation states make war on people.

I speculate that this will be let out in cost-plus contracts. $21,6 billion is likely to cost over $100 billion once the 'plus' is factored in.
