The Federal Communications Commission has once again become industry’s servant. Ajit Pai, the former Verizon lawyer and current Trump-appointed FCC chairman, has ushered in a virulent strain of market libertarianism, pledging to use a “weed whacker” against common-sense Internet regulations.

The way I look at this issue is by imaging the roads and highways being "owned" by a private corporation and, to be able to use the roads, you have to drive only to businesses and destinations that the "company" permits you to drive to. That's what the absence of net-neutrality looks like. I'd like to see how these so-called free-market conservatives explain that to be a free-market.
