Justice Department Overhauls Team in Eric Garner Police Killing Case

Nadia Prupis, staff writer

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has replaced the New York team investigating the 2014 police killing of Eric Garner, the 43-year-old black man whose arrest and deadly chokehold were captured on video—a move that could "jump-start the long-stalled case and put the government back on track to seek criminal charges," the New York Times reports.

There were other Police Officers who piled onto Eric and stayed on top of him, as he pleaded for breath.

They need to be brought to justice, as well.

Mindless Thugs, protecting the City against a guy who gave people a cigarette out of his pocket, if they gave him some change for it in return.

The sight of Pantoleo, moments after murdering this overwhelmed, unarmed Citizen, mockingly smiling and waving at the person taking a cellphone video of him, as he mingled with his fellow officers, tells us all we need to know of the Systemic Contempt this Department, and these people, have for the Citizens they are supposed to Serve.

And so far, the only person who has suffered from his involvement in that sad incident, aside from Eric, is the man who provided us, the Citizens, with the Video Evidence of this despicable crime, as the Police wasted no time in looking for anything they could possibly scrape together in order to put Him in jail.
