The CEOs and upper echelons of work places are greedy and inhumane. Perhaps BATTLE CREEK is the choice name for when corporations screw over their employees—but the war is coming. Perhaps they forget that without workers —what are they?
I have never forgiven Disney when they laid off a lot fo workers so that the top people could get their bonuses. Isn’t that insane? They had to make a certain $ level to receive their bonus—so they laid of workers meaning there was less money going out for pay—BUT they screwed over their company by a fraudulent gain—As if their great work deserved a raise—when all they did was cut workers pay. : (
Way past time to boycott. Who feeds that garbage to their kids anyway?

This can only happen because NAFTA was signed.
Remember. When NAFTA signed virtually all Unions and people representing what was deemed the left opposed it and claimed this very thing would happen and the Corporations would use the threat of moving to Mexico to slash benefits and wages.
They barely had a voice at the table. They were told by Nobel Winning economists that all would prosper and that whatever jobs lost at places like Kellogs would be replaced by much higher paying jobs (See Robert Reich).
The press joined in with the Corporate voices claiming all would prosper as they were directed by their owners to do. The Politicians blathered the same nonsense.
It important the remember this. Those Corporations and the Press and all of those Politicians and Economists were not “mislead” rather they set out to mislead. . They knew the outcome just as the Union leaders forsaw this outcome 30 years ago. The voices advocating for free trade knew they were telling us lies.
