Killing Blindly in the Endless War

Kathy Kelly

"These are people who had been working hard for months, non-stop for the past week. They had not gone home, they had not seen their families, they had just been working in the hospital to help people... and now they are dead. These people are friends, close friends. I have no words to express this. It is unspeakable.

"The hospital, it has been my workplace and home for several months. Yes, it is just a building. But it is so much more than that. It is healthcare for Kunduz. Now it is gone.

Thank you Kathy for all that you have done and continue to do. My(?) country's exceptionalism has exhausted me over and over again.

Why do I get the feeling that if this attack had been effectively covered up by the Pentagon and then later revealed by a whistleblower, the whistleblower would ultimately be spending tie in jail with Chelsea Manning? In the same vein, you can be sure the Government will cover its ass in its investigations and no one will be prosecuted.

While the bombing of this hospital was a horrific event, to be sure, it is only exceptional in that it was so widely reported. To anyone who lives in a country where this government and its allies have been waging a War of Terror, it is anything but an exception.

" Destroying a hospital and so many lives, for nothing. I cannot find words for this ." Lajos Zoltan Jecs

As a past supporter of Doctors Without Borders I also cannot find words for this either, only to add that this most egregious attack on this hospital and the murders of so many patients, many murdered in their hospital beds, was not an accident, but deliberately done to send a message and the military people that are culpable, need to be indicted for war crimes and sent to prison!

Kathy Kelly, voice in the wilderness of official U.S. morality. U.S. killing blindly in so many ways. Blind selectively when it comes to the value of life of non-U.S. or non-European and non-elite people. Blind also to true self-interest, which is never served by murder.

The media in America resembles Tass and Pravda under Stalin.Totally captive of the MIC.

I will be upping my donation this year to Doctors w/o Borders. Any organization bold enough to call out the US on war crimes must have full support. So support them in any way you can. If you do not have $20 to spare, be vocal about it!
