Let's Re-fund America

Let's Re-fund America

Jim Hightower

The powerhouses of Wall Street have tunneled directly into the cloistered backrooms of Washington deal making, extracting trillions of dollars worth of government bailouts, special tax breaks and regulatory favors every year. Yet, in a stupefying act of hypocrisy, they have also been the major force pushing policymakers to embrace extreme laissez-faire bunkum and to inflict the most austere budgetary minginess on the American people.

This undermining of the workaday Americans goes against the very essence of America, from our egalitarian ideals to our can-do spirit

Part of the problem is people still believe this stuff. The United States of America was NOT in any way shape or form founded on the ideals of eglatarianism. Those that Governed on founding put in place a structure to ensure that always remained the case. It was always about those with more money and those with more power TAKING from others ,either by force or by the rule of law that they imposed.

The concept of eglatarianism is a “people” value. It has been something peoples on every country on this globe have struggled for since time began. It is not a Canadian value , a Russian value or an American value. Each of these Countries Governments have or have had at one point in their histories been formed to deliver on that eglatarianism and each have put in place as Governments peoples who end up representing the values of those that do not believe in eglatarianism.

It a fact of History that as far as the Americas go , the most eglatarian societies were of the First Nations peoples. This one reason those European conquerers decided those societies had to be destroyed.

Step one in achieving the goal of eglatarianism is by dismantling the system called Capitalism which has as its very foundation the concept of Class being built into the structure. That of the worker who in fact produce the wealth and that of those that OWN that workers labor , the Investor.

IT won’t happen without blood in the streets first. Sorry

To Jim Hightower:

I agree wholeheartedly with every single point on your list.

But there is currently no single party with that list - not in your country, nor mine in Canada.

But definitely the mainstream parties in both our countries are beyond the pale - corrupt beyond redemption.

We just had a federal byelection in British Columbia - the Greens won, making two members of the federal government now.

It’s a start.
