Hi Abby, I always read your mini-essays here and love the way your slice the meat straight to the bone. Please keep it up!
This weak man child has somehow managed to intimidate a party (The GOP) that he recently joined and at the same time bully the press into putting up with his constant insults and letting his lies go unchallenged. Both groups seem to be afraid of this incompetent man’s vindictiveness. Both groups do not realize there’s strength in numbers. He’s one man…please guys, grow a spine. And like someone aptly put it, “Screw the access, do your job.”
Good video on Interrupt Trump–the media has been too complicit for too long.
Not only a good video, but a forceful challenge and call to action.
And without directly saying it (I wish it had), the video makes the assertion that by politely allowing Trump’s bullying and lying to go too far, the press dug its own grave on holding him accountable. And better late than never is inadequate at this point – sugarcoating blatant lying by continuing to refer to it as “false statements” is how we got to this point. In this sense, the video is 100% correct: Despite recent improvement, the fourth estate still badly needs to up its game.
Uppity Women (journalists) Unite! And the men too.
Trump is, and always has been, an inveterate LIAR.
Words are a journalist’s stock-in-trade. Use the correct one.
$3 trillion, not billion “HEROES” Act
It would be fun to add something in the background to Trump’s taIk arounds where he never answers the questions.Maybe twitter could do this as facebook won’t.
Every time Trump Lies–a cartoon of a fIame is added to the episode… so no one has to say “Iiar, or fake news.” We would know it was fake news when his rear seems to catch on fire. Since we don’t have reaI news with Trump—maybe we can just make it entertaining. : )
Let’s give Trump the respect he deserves: ridicule, contempt, mockery, derision, laughter, insult, disgust.
