Soon after Maria, when aid was neglected by the racist Trump regime, I wondered if Puerto Rico should devote loyalty to whatever nearby country would offer emergency assistance. Now it looks like the US military is in charge, choosing to arrest teachers opposed to a corporate takeover.

Technology like AI and automation is causing a great need for changes worldwide. The need for Unconditional Universal Basic Income is one of these. Schooling is another.

Increasingly online, interactive and with the best educators, the need for schools is changing. Schools are becoming places for socializing and sports, but most teaching is being done online, much from home.

Travelers with children have paid for online education like the Calvert School for years with often superior results. Today, online courses are freely available. In the near future, there won’t be much conflict between private schooling and public because all education will be free and available online.

Going off grid is the future for PR, but it is being met by resistance from different sides. The same goes for other major technological improvements in education.

And every time those who resist the theft of public and community resources dare to protest, they are treated as criminals! Every time! Dissent is not a crime, it is a fundamental right!! It is the only peaceful counter to greed and corruption!
