Media Spin Headlines to Downplay US Responsibility for Mosul Massacre

Ben Norton

If you read the headlines of major corporate media outlets, you’d think hundreds of Iraqi civilians coincidentally died in the same location that just so happened to be hit by a US airstrike.

The Media is, today, Captured and Owned, and so, now, is the Availability and Accuracy of Information.

Which is a good thing for the Current US PTB, because US Citizens would never stand for what really goes on, had they Unfettered Access to the Truth about our Government, and its actions.

The beheading porn at the start of the ISIL-IS-ISIS-Daesh-... deception effectively desensitized the American public to any future tragedy in the region. A psy-op tour de force.

The media serves as the "spokesperson" of the company. In this case, the company is the US establishment/government.

Ever since 1950, when Congress abdicated their responsibility to declare war, America has been, for all intensive purposes, a military, industrial, congressional, dictatorship backed by a compliant, cheer leading MSM composed of war apologists; media presstitiutes; and media whorespondents!

General Mattis said the U.S. Military had to become more leathal I guess we know what he meant now.

Nothing but a holdover from the Obama administration.

Maybe the news media is doing the same thing they did when Obama was president: downplay US responsibility. Obama worsened and increased drone killings after Bush with nary a word from the press, so now we're supposed to take notice.

CNN did have a tearjerker on the Mosul slaughter this am. Dead children under Trump are no different than dead children under Obama.

Language is the virus that transmits the disease of deceit

It's not hard to understand, America. When you drop bombs, especially in densely populated urban areas, you are invariably murdering mostly innocent civilians. This is the reality. Admit it for once!
