Most of the World Does Not Like U.S. Foreign Policy

Vijay Prashad

Last week, the United Nations General Assembly voted overwhelmingly to condemn the U.S. embargo against Cuba. 189 member-nations of the world said that Cuba does not deserve this embargo, which began in 1961 and has continued—unabated—to this day. Only two countries—the United States and Israel—voted against the motion. No country abstained.

If most of the rest of the world doesn’t like US foreign policy, then they should stand-up against it and the trump regime, and fight their war-mongering and environmental destruction! Just saying or “not liking” the actions of this dangerous idiot, moron sociopath criminal tin-pot dicktator is not enough! If ya don’t like it - do something about it, don’t just roll-over for 45’s destructive agenda!

I immediately reacted to the headline: “Most of the World does not like US Foreign Policy” in a very negative way. This has to be the lamest and most inappropriate headline when the whole world utterly detests the evils visited upon us by “The Exceptional People”. Words cannot describe the arrogance, stupidity, cruelty and insanity of US Foreign Policy since 1945. I do not give them a pass for WWII because that was a fight that the US Public wanted no part of and had to be tricked into it by the false flag op that was “Pearl Harbor”. It is no coincidence that the neocons who wrote the 1998 paper “Catastrophic Terorism” (Zelikow, Carter & Deutch) lusted after a new Pearl Harbor, a transformative event, that would give them the wars of their choice and allow them to curtail civil liberties etc. Since Nagasaki and Hiroshima, how many innocents have died as a result of US Foreign Policy, both overt and covert. For a glimpse, just google “crimes of the CIA”. Since the peaceful collapse of the USSR, the megalomaniac Uber-Captialists have been in a feeding frenzy of exploiting the the whole of Creation. The only book to read is James Douglas’ “JFK & The Unspeakable. Why he died & Why it Matters”.

“Does not like”

Are you kidding?? How about ‘hates’. After over throwing numerous democracies, supporting dictators and despots. Starting BS wars that killed millions and exporting killing machines to anyone who would buy them.

No country is as reviled as much as America and the ignorant Americans as “why”.

‘We the American people’ are both the only ones responsible for, and who have the ability to non-violently, bell this Disguised Global Capitalist EMPIRE, which is nominally HQed in, and merely ‘poses’ as, our former country (AKA) America.

People are fighting back all over the world, and America - almost as a whole, are cheering for and praising the people slaughtering them.

#8

If most of the world is against US Foreign Policy, it should elect leaders that will shut down US Bases & build up their military & will participate in BDS so it can have a much bigger impact.

There have been quite a few countries that have tried to refuse America’s demands or gain some independence, financial or otherwise.
Afganistan, Iraq, Somalia, Uganda, Quait, Honduras, Lebanon, Cuba, Iran, Russia and some 60+ more. Does that list sound familiar? It should.

The US foreign policies that the world does not like are not in the service of the American people. Take your pick: sanctions on Iran are in the service of Israel; an embargo on Cuba are in the service of U.S. financial elites that don’t want any economic system that could expose the lies of neoliberalism to succeed. And on and on it goes with policies serving the powerful and bullshit for the rest of us.

The majority of the American people still believe the egregious, lie that Pearl Harbor was a " SNEAK ATTACK" when nothing could be further from the real truth and there is a plethora of documentation to substantiate my statement if anyone doubts it. Hell even the Honolulu Bulletin had articles about there could be an Japanese attack at any time a week before the attack.

9/11 was pretty much the same scenario. Just ask yourself: CUI BONO?

News reports that 3 MILLION people are leaving Venezuela, and South American countries are reeling. Our little caravan is nothing. War and sanctions breed emigration. How can a country promote war and be against immigrants at the same time!!!
