MSNBC Declines to Voluntarily Recognize Newsroom Union Effort

Originally published at: MSNBC Declines to Voluntarily Recognize Newsroom Union Effort

First, MSNBC is not a progressive network. It is middle of the road on its best day.
And second, Comcast will burn that building to the ground before it allows a union.

Right you are. In fact I would go further and say that both the Dem and Rep parties are corporate controlled along with the media. The real rulers all over this planet, that know no loyalty to any nation state or to anything really that lives or breathes? Corporations. We live under Corporate Rule, there is NO nation that does not get its directives from corporations which explains why voting doesnt make any difference at all in terms of outcomes. Explains why as SOON as even a “progressive” candidate gets elected, they immediately FAIL to follow through on their campaign promises. Only two choices right now. A paler shade of predatory capitalism or full frontal fascist predatory capitalism, take your pick. And old Joe, hes PEAK CORPORATE RULE. He fronts for the military, industrial, banking AND medical establishment! and they LOVE him so.
Check it out! When Joe goes off script even for a moment in public! you see what a dimwitted moron he really IS. Putin! now telling the world oh yeah, hes sharp as a tack! **Translation?**Putin is like yeah drumpf was a bombastic fool but Biden is a doddering old fool too, and even easier for me to manipulate, thats what this empty “praise” is all about…suckers. FFS. But anybody who knows Joe and knows what he is really about knows…When you look behind the smirk and the shades?THERE IS NOTHING THERE.

of course they didn’t recognize the union --they are a giant corporation --pay workers a good wage —you must be a communist or some damn thing

I don’t think the MSN thing was about wage. I think it was about diversity in hiring practices, which they may get somewhat, and possibly having more power and protections as journalists in what they write, which is of course a pipe dream.

No business leadership group wants a union, of course. One factory group I worked for a long time ago keep unions out by sincere efforts and practices toward workers interests and involvement. I know. I was in the management on the ground floor.

At this point, I wouldn’t say no nation. Cuba, Venezuela, and China are some counter-examples where corporations do not yet call the shots, though it may only be a matter of time.

With only a limited number of exceptions, MSNBC hosts read and deliver the information they are told to deliver.

Journalists they are not.

I went thru the first dozen articles to see which ones I might be able to post a comment. Those few that I could post on were in my opinion not having any additional discussion warranted.
I paid some money to CD which admittedly was overdue. Didn’t affect my access to comments.
