I’m curious, anyone know how the poor states of AR. and KY. have avoided this?

Great question. The ban on utility shutoffs is still active in KY. The one in AR expires on Oct. 18. The relative security of the populations in those states–at least with respect to protection from utility shutoffs–can be attributed to the prolongation of state moratoriums. Hopefully a national moratorium will extend that safeguard to everyone in the country.

Thank you for the information.

Nationalize all public services. Electricity, water, gas, oil, health care, and banks. Don’t like it? Then suffer at the hands of exploitation.

Yes, a fair assessment is in order for a democratic socialist plan, or a socialist plan.
This is America. There will always be exploitation.
