Nearly 200,000 Gather in London for History-Making Demonstration of Solidarity With Palestinians

It was a great article - “mealy- mouthed calls” from mealy- mouthed cowards.

We need to advocate-for and demand the release of the great Palestinian leader Marwan Hasib Ibrahim Barghouti who languishes in an Israeli prison after being railroaded and convicted by a typical Israeli star chamber court!

Marwan Barghouti is a real leader of the Palestinian people the Israeli occupiers greatly fear and that is why he was gotten rid-of via kangaroo court!

FREE Barghouti NOW !

seriously. it’s hard to imagine what could have been had it not been for Brexit and Israel re: Corbyn and a reformed Labour.

Too many enemies when you’re a decent politician.

This protest warms my heart, though. It’s turning too slowly, but it is turning.

True and this has been going on since 1948 for too damn long!

A nation that produces the leaders we’ve had this century, is broken and at risk.

They can pull this, and other stuff off because people are uninterested, don’t care, or don’t bother to know what the world is about.

Too many feel no empathy with other humans. If they are O.K. the hell with anybody else (I think that’s the Republican platform - they pretty much come right out and say it with their Randian rants. The Democrats say something else but always fail to do the heavy lifting that’s needed so it amounts to the same thing.). The lack of empathy in the civilized world is stunning.

Put it on the list of “historic” pro-Palestine London protests of October, 1990 and May, 2015. Israel and the US couldn’t care less. In the end, more Palestinians will die, more land will be seized, and the US will sell more arms to Israel.

I blame it on the Tylenol: ~https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6455058/

We’re being drugged not to care, as well as propagandized by the oligarchs media to not notice any of the big stuff while the focus is put on divisive minor differences.

drugged not to care is pushing it, to put it mildly, but I love this study for what it does actually raise: the relationship between enhanced levels of pain and enhanced empathy which is likely the causal arrow here, not tylenol, much as I loathe that drug for other reasons.

appreciate you posting it. it’s useful for my work.

Yes it’s part of the separation conciousness, its been part of our guiding principles for millennia.

That’s part of our Cultural Story that inflicts the most damage on ourselves and the world at large. The story is false a myth, fallacy.

Only a new understanding of who we are in relationships to each other and a raising of conciousness can solve our misunderstandings.

Any support of Israel at this point, no matter how small, is an overt declaration for support of terrorism, Fascism, and a clear declaration of war against the Palestinians and Muslims worldwide. Biden cannot help himself, he has supported the terrorists his whole career, and now cannot bring himself to admit he was always wrong from the very beginning. I don’t think he is capable of acknowledging a morally reprehensible past much less acting out of a sense of ethical responsibility in the present. I just want to say, for all you lesser-of-evils derelicts, that your strategy of pressuring Biden into being progressive is completely idiotic and has so far resulted in a complete failure in controlling Biden’s right wing excesses, but also turned a blind eye to Biden making statements like “Israel has the right to exist”, as if they were fully justified in their half century old genocidal campaign, occupation of Palestine, countless UN violations, and their cavalier attitude toward human rights, international law, and established political boundaries in general. Already the right wing voting, lesser of evils, have ceased forgotten their strategy of pressuring Biden for anything, and less than 6 months into his first term at that; instead they have given in to whatever right wing excesses Biden will surely continue to support going forward. Don’t worry right wing democrats, there will be no progressive candidates to run against you in the next election, they have all been eliminated thanks to you.

A better look at Marwan Barghouti as leader of the Palestinian Nation falsely charged,’ tried’, and imprisoned by the terrorist entity racist ‘courts’ for a crime he did not commit!

This is history repeating itself over and over and ovr, and…so on. Protests. Riots. Demands to halt this genocide, etc and it has been going on for decades–All the way back to Truman when the land grab referred to as “Expansion” came into being. The US never put a stop to the war crimes and stopped all efforts by others to do so. and hold these Fascists Apartheid monsters accountable. How is it that only the lives of Jews matter whole all others (including American lives) don’t matter? They have even attacked US ships and killed our sailors and the US was silent. Israel was created out of an illegal land grab and needs to be nuked. Better for all humans and the planet. Better yet, arm and support all those opposed to Israel and take back what is rightfully theirs.

I blame overpopulation. If animals are crowded into pens they quickly lose empathy & start to bite others who get too close. Same thing among humans, especially in the cities where most of us live.

I hope everyone realizes that “From the river to the sea…” calls for the eradication of the state of Israel.

That’s the problem, isn’t it? Between the land grabbing leaders that the Israelis have elected and the terrorists that the Palestinians have elevated, there’s no chance for peace. The people running the show on both sides advocate for pushing the other side into the sea.

They feed off each other as convenient foils so as to remain in power. I doubt one would exist without the other.

To frame this situation as blameless on one side and totally innocent on the other makes you part of the problem. That’s what the leaders on each side do, but the folks on both sides should understand that their leaders aren’t doing them any favors.

My answer: **** WHO SAYS SO? Why would anyone listen to an Israeli stooge!

Hence the old joke that goes: “Israel will never apply to become a U.S. state because states are limited to representation by only two Senators.”

True and any future POTUS that does not SUPPORT THE MIC and be a war monger like all previous leaders of war mongering, stooges from Reagan to Biden, (like Bernie!) Will never be allowed to become POTUS or if they do they will be assassinated like …JFK who wanted to start the Peace Corps.

We’ve had the same people in congress for over 4 decades and they were the ones who sold out the country for money so that their donors can make more obscene amounts. Pelosi, Schumer, Biden, McConnell and many others have watched as corporations have stripped the assets from just about every industry. They have gotten filthy rich off rigging the laws in their donors favor as well as their own. Plus insider trading is legal for congress members who buy stocks just before companies get huge contracts. Pelosi bought millions just before Biden gave a company the contract for making government cars.

Lots of congress members sold stock just after getting the same briefing that Trump got. Trump got in trouble for staying silent, but so did every democrat that knew how bad it was going to get. Pelosi knew. Schumer knew. Neither spoke up.

Lots of other dem governors put Covid sick people in nursing homes and even after Cuomo stopped because of the deadly results. Priztker did it in August last year.

Oops I went on a rant again.
