Nearly 50 Senators Want to Make It a Felony to Boycott Israel

Nearly 50 Senators Want to Make It a Felony to Boycott Israel

Aniqa Raihan
In 1966, the NAACP of Claiborne County, Mississippi launched a boycott of several white-owned local businesses on the basis of racial discrimination.

It was so impactful that the local hardware store filed a lawsuit against the individuals and organizations who coordinated the boycott. After 10 long years of litigation, the Mississippi Supreme Court ruled in favor of the white businesses and ordered the NAACP to pay for all their lost earnings.

Boycott Disloyal Senators!

This action shows the power Israel has had over our government and elected reps and their lap-dog response - a treasonous craven capitulation to foreign influence that sabotages and undermines our sovereignty!

AIPAC is an agent of a foreign power - an extremist state dedicated to expansionism by force expressly illegal under International Law and UN resolutions.

For our elected reps to cater to the Israeli agenda should be seen as criminal! Banning US citizens from exercising their Constitutional rights is a betrayal! Agents of a foreign power mixing “religion” with common theft of territory by force, endless illegal occupation, murders/assassinations, destruction of infrastructure, homes, water resources, racist expulsions and destruction of Palestinian culture is a crime against humanity!

It should be illegal for “dual citizenship” shills to represent the agenda and interests of the foreign power - Israel - NOT ban citizens from protesting Israeli crimes and cultural genocide! That IS treason! BDS!

From George Washington’s Farewell Address:

“So likewise, a passionate attachment of one nation for another produces a variety of evils. Sympathy for the favorite nation, facilitating the illusion of an imaginary common interest in cases where no real common interest exists, and infusing into one the enmities of the other, betrays the former into a participation in the quarrels and wars of the latter without adequate inducement or justification. It leads also to concessions to the favorite nation of privileges denied to others which is apt doubly to injure the nation making the concessions; by unnecessarily parting with what ought to have been retained, and by exciting jealousy, ill-will, and a disposition to retaliate, in the parties from whom equal privileges are withheld. And it gives to ambitious, corrupted, or deluded citizens (who devote themselves to the favorite nation), facility to betray or sacrifice the interests of their own country, without odium, sometimes even with popularity; gilding, with the appearances of a virtuous sense of obligation, a commendable deference for public opinion, or a laudable zeal for public good, the base or foolish compliances of ambition, corruption, or infatuation.” - George Washington

He might have written this for the premeditated Israeli subversion and the betrayal of America by people holding first loyalty to a foreign power!

The list of elected reps holding “dual-citizenship” with Israel is an ongoing subversion and has cost our nation dear! Chuck Schumer is only one among many who make decisions on foreign policy and issues like the BDS movement - they are no different from foreign agents!

Better yet- let them know and voice the preference that they withdraw co-sponsorship of S-720. The ACLU has already provided the quotable “unconstitutional” and links to Sen emails is in the list links… and request a response!

“transparency is essential - a constituent should know whether or not another state loyalty is involved when his or her representative speaks out on a major issue, such as on military assistance to Israel or recognition of Palestine as a state”

So-called “dual citizens” apparently and demonstrably actually hold FIRST LOYALTY to a foreign power that has subverted and murdered numerous American citizens with ZERO consequences - such is the power of the Israeli lobby!
Never forget the Israeli attack on the USS Liberty killing or wounding over 200 US sailors! http://www.gtr5.com/

The number one foreign power subverting our elections is NOT Russia, it is and has been Israel! Treasonous subversion of our republic has reached epidemic and dangerous proportions - and has been growing by design for decades!

If to stand against actions by people who happen to be Jewish makes you an anti-Semite, then let’s say anti-Semitism is sometimes justified, and expose those that seek to destroy or control others by attaching that label, to the contempt they deserve. It’s the Nazi attaching the Star of David selectively in reverse.

I don’t think it will happen because the boycott is political speech, which is protected by the Constitution. On the other hand, the BDS movement is a thinly disguised attempt to de-legitimize the existence of Israel. It’s actual goal is the destruction of Israel and the Jewish people. If you don’t know this, you haven’t read their aims nor how the BDS idea got started. I suggest you read the charters of the PLO, the PA, and Hamas to find out.

We seem to be living in a world of inversion where right is wrong, yes is no, black is white, etc, etc. When a nation is run only by money, power and politics devoid of principles - it is on a downhill slope towards tyranny. Unfortunately that is where the USofA appears to be. We should behave as a sovereign state but that would imply respecting other sovereign states which is not something the US seems capable of.

This just makes me want to boycott harder!

The problem with the idea of boycotting Israel as a nation is that it fails to take into account that there are many Jewish Israelis who really disapprove of what their government has been doing; i. e. the occupation of West Bank, Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem, with its settlement-building policy, the demolition of Palestinians’ homes, the humiliating checkpoints, and the deprivation of Gaza of electricity and what-not for long periods of time.

That being said, I can understand boycotting anything that’s made by Israeli Jews residing in the settlements on West Bank, Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem, but not the Nation-State of Israel itself, especially because it came into existence for a good reason: The Jews from Europe who escaped from the Holocaust and refused to return to their doom needed a country of their own. Since there are countries throughout the world that are Catholic majority, Muslim majority, Protestant Majority, then there should also be a Jewish-majority nation-state…Israel.

Yet, at the same time, Israel needs badly to be taken to task for its policies of occupation in West Bank, Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem, and forced to relinquish those territories to the Palestinians, thus allowing them to create their own nation-state in those territories, alongside Israel, and not in place of Israel, the way many people want.

One Senator had the good judgment to remove her name from the co-sponsor list for this un-Constitutional legislation that serves the extremist/terrorist Israeli agenda and criminalizes Americans of conscience, and that is Sen Kirsten Gillibrand of NY - she likely was under great pressure from the AIPAC et al agents of Israel, including that well-known Israeli/Zionist shill “Chucky” Schumer - A leader of the pro-Israeli right at any cost Democrats! Any “amending” the treasonous bill is still unacceptable collusion - typical Israeli/Dem lap-dog shite!

BDS… Just set em, and forget em. No $$$ profits for apparthied supporting countries.

This ‘bill’ makes it sound like if you have ANY money and unknowingly don’t spend some on Israel, you could be put in jail…Really!!..Then these ‘nearly’ 50 completely phkd up people that are called Senators can just eat shyt. I have not use for these degenerate phkholes.

The goal of Israel is to destroy the palestinians completely. Bibi is on record that the greater Israel is the goal, which includes the west bank and gaza becoming Israelis territory. So who is out to destroy who? When the goal is to steal all the territory and and push the palestinians into other people’s land, is one just to go along with it? Or fight back? I know how americans respond when they are threatened at all, with violence.
Israel was a bad move from western powers that hated jews so much that they created a country on someone’s else’s land. The hope was that all jews would move to that country and relieve them from the ‘jewish’ problem. This forced the palestinians and the jews into a fight for land. Now with the support of the US, a growing Israel wants to take all the land. This position is because the conservatives believe that god gave them Israel and thus they deserve every bit of it. Bibi and his party pursue such a dream which is why he doesn’t believe in a two state solution. One can’t have two states when only one holds all the land. The palestinians know this, have heard this for years from the conservatives of Israel. And the conservatives control the country.
Most jews would go along with a two state solution, but Bibi plays upon the fears, just like US conservatives do to win elections. And thus advance an agenda that is harmful to Israel by allowing illegal settlements and thus take more land from the west bank. Then in negotiations he declares that they can’t abandon those settlers and thus the land needs to remain with them. And year by year the palestinians lose more land to settlers. No one would tolerate such a situation.
I know of no people who would tolerate their land being taken from them by outside forces and told that they must live with it. I would say the US wouldn’t tolerate it, but we have always been the stealer of lands from others. But if it was to happen to us, we would howl in rage and fight.
And all of this resulted from the hatred of jews and not wanting them in their countries, 1st by an influx of russian jews during pogroms in russia into europe and the US and then following both WWs where jews were once again fleeing to western europe and the US. Thus the UN mandate pushed by those countries to force the palestinians to have a new country carved out of their territory. And now we have both sides unwillingly to let the other live.

There is one more point. The US, France, and England didn’t want the jews who fled to live in those countries. So the idea of creating a jewish state was considered a good idea in that they thought most jews would leave and thus relieve them of the ‘jewish’ problem as those countries saw it. That idea was actually floated in the late 19th century when palestine was british territory and a number of jews moved there.
It is why before WWII that the US refused to admit many jews, they were not wanted nor desired. So by using the UN to create Israel, the countries could ship jews there. All without taking into account that the british had created a palestinian state where they were putting the jews and the palestinians didn’t want their land taken.

The senate is challenging your right to BDS.

So what are you going to do?

That’s right. You’re going to BDS with even more dedication.

Whether or not one supports BDS, IMHO this is an atrocious law and clearly in violation of the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States.  At a time when Tweetle-Dumb is doing all he can to destroy our rights, for ANY senator who calls himself a Democrat to support this law is grounds for being ousted as soon as his or her current term expires.

The terrorist state of Israel will go to any lengths to try to limit world condemnation and opposition to their endless occupation and brutal repression of the indigenous peoples of Palestine.
The BDS movement is making great gains and the right wing Israeli Zionist government and the “settlers” (AKA ordinary thieves cloaked in “religious” masks) realize the world is waking-up to their racism, naked aggression, murders, steady lies and deceit, and blatant contempt for International Law.

Israel is trying to coerce malleable governments, US states, and craven, treasonous, politicians to pass anti-BDS laws, but the more they tighten their grip the more opening-minds will slip through their odious bloody racist fingers!

"Israel is increasingly concerned with the successes of the boycott and divestment (BDS) efforts. In 2014, foreign direct investment in Israel dropped 46 per cent from the previous year, in part, a United Nations report said, because of BDS efforts.

"Last month, an interfaith group was barred from catching a flight to Israel from an airport near Washington, DC. It quickly emerged that Israeli authorities had blacklisted the group because of their support for BDS - the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement - which works to pressure Israel into ending its occupation of Palestinian and Arab lands and to grant its own Palestinian citizens full rights.

“The two women and three men who were banned are members of various activist groups that support BDS: Jewish Voice for Peace, Presbyterian Peace Fellowship and American Muslims for Palestine.”

It is good to see that the Senate has at least one brave and conscientious member. Bravo, Kirsten Gillibrand!
