Needed: Indicators for Measuring Injustice and Societal Decay

In my scientific/engineering career I had to perform all sorts of measurements to understand the various systems at hand. In the environment there was often not precedent for how data were to be collected nor analyzed so along with my peers and students I worked to do so. It was time consuming, but we had that luxury. The radical social inequalities are so extreme that I would just prefer to smash the hell out of injustice forgoing bragging rights about how much (quantitative) Progress was made. Establishing metrics is a tool that the conservatives often employ to stall genuine Progress. We Know where the inequalities lie. No modeling paradigms can get it right. The systems are just too damn complicated. Let’s get out Teddy Roosevelt’s big stick and walk through the concentrated power structure of this country and flatten the curve being discussed here.

All of these indicators have been collected for years by global organizations that measure social progress or quality of life rather than the GDP. Their methods, data, and results are all public - and have been online for a long time. The issue rather is, why are they not being publicized to the American public, who has no clue that in most of these rankings they rank way behind many many countries, including non industrialized ones. I have worked for years with my uni. students with these indicators and measures, who by the end of their project are shocked to discover that they are not in the ‘best country in the world’. For starters look up socialprogress(dot)org.

I think it’s more simple than legislating morality ,you Wake up first and do what works for the highest good of all .True change can only be made from the Heart it’s a case of raising consciousness to change consciousness. That’s where the work must be done .A Spiritual solution not mandated fairness through government or some kind of over body .Education is the key ,the whole education system must be overhauled. It must focus on wisdom, critical thinking ,values ,responsibility, awareness and Truth What good is profit at all cost if there’s no oxygen to breath or fresh water to drink and all the crops are sprayed with chemicals that shorter everyone’s life spans .

.Here is something from well I will let you decide what you think. We have been going backwards for a long time everything looks like it’s breaking down ,perhaps it must for there to be a breakthrough…the choice is ours .

16 Differences Between Highly Evolved Beings (HEBs) and Humans Living in an Unawakened State

In Conversations with God-Book 4: Awaken the Species we are told that there are Highly Evolved Beings who live in another dimension in our universe who are assisting human civilization in its evolutionary process. When asked, “What is the difference in their behaviors and those of humans?”, God replied. “I can give you a list of them.” Here, from the text, is that list. These are the common behaviors of Highly Evolved Beings, as compared to the behaviors of those humans who are living in an unawakened state.

  1. An awakened species sees the Unity of All Life and lives into it. Humans in an unawakened state often deny it or ignore it.

  2. An awakened species tells the truth, always. Humans in an unawakened state too often lie, to themselves as well as others.

  3. An awakened species says one thing and will do what they say. Humans in an unawakened state often say one thing and do another.

  4. An awakened species, having seen and acknowledged what is so, will always do what works. Humans in an unawakened state often do the opposite.

  5. An awakened species does not embrace a principle in its civilization that correlates with the concepts that humans refer to as “justice” and “punishment.”

  6. An awakened species does not embrace a principle in its civilization that correlates with the concept that humans refer to as “insufficiency”

  7. An awakened species does not embrace a principle in its civilization that correlates with the concept that humans refer to as “ownership.”

  8. An awakened species shares everything with everyone all the time. Humans in an unawakened state often do not, only sharing with others in limited circumstances.

  9. An awakened species creates a balance between technology and cosmology; between machines and nature. Humans in an unawakened state often do not.

  10. An awakened species would never under any circumstances terminate the current physical expression of another sentient being unless asked directly by that other being to do so. Humans in an unawakened state often kill other humans without that other human requesting them to.

  11. An awakened species would never do anything that could potentially damage or harm the physical environment that supports the members of the species when they are physicalized. Humans in an unawakened state often do so.

  12. An awakened species never poisons itself. Humans in an unawakened state often do so.

  13. An awakened species never competes. Humans in an unawakened state are often in competition with each other.

  14. An awakened species is clear that it needs nothing. Humans in an unawakened state often create a need-based experience.

  15. An awakened species experiences and expresses unconditional love for everyone. Humans in an unawakened state often cannot imagine even a Deity who does this, much less do they do it themselves.

  16. An awakened species has harnessed the power of metaphysics. Humans in an unawakened state often largely ignore it.

=================================

(Each item on the above list is fully explained in the text of CWG-Book 4: Awaken the Species.)

Asked if we might have just a brief example of what is meant by Item #4 , the dialogue offers this, in God’s voice:

If your objective is to live a life of peace, joy, and love, violence does not work. This has already been demonstrated.

If your objective is to live a life of good health and great longevity, consuming dead flesh daily, smoking known carcinogens continuously, and drinking gallons of nerve-deadening, brain-frying liquids like alcohol regularly does not work. This has already been demonstrated.

If your objective is to raise offspring free of violence and rage, placing them directly in front of vivid depictions of violence and rage during their most impressionable years does not work. This has already been demonstrated.

If your objective is to care for Earth and wisely husband her resources, acting as if those resources are limitless does not work. This has already been demonstrated.

If your objective is to discover and cultivate a relationship with a loving Deity so that religion can make a difference in the affairs of humans, then teaching of a god of righteousness, punishment, and terrible retribution does not work. This has already been demonstrated.

What about all the innovative financial models that will make every single heartbeat we emit into a bit of dats thats relevant to the pricing of our new privatized services?

How would government perform tasks like zoning to encourage tax income maximization?

With so many jobs slated to be outsourced, sales taxes will probably fall a lot, Communities will find them hard pressed to justify services like public education in an environment where so few are getting jobs, and so many are losing them. There is a limit to how many schools, parks, and “blighted” neighborhoods of postwar homes and apartment buildings they can auction off to real estate developers, they are going to want to maximize the tax generating potential of every square yerd of land and housing.

Thanks to the Internet, all sorts of data about who buys what and goes where, will become available.

When areas are built, its also planned that someday they will be torn down. A huge wave of urban renweal is planned for our immediate future, due to the export of natural gas millions of multiunit buildings from the 1940s, 50s and 60s, are likely to be swept away (along with a huge percentaghe of the nations affordable housing) This will happen coincidentally or not at the exact same time as many jobs will be transformed into subcontracting opportunities for foreign subcomtractors or every description in a great many fields., whomever bids the cheapest.

Transformation of affordable multiunit builingd into expensive high cost condos and apartments will come with a cost, but that cost will not be shard, it will fall heavily on those whose wages have not kept up with the “going rte” as far as new rentals. Also having recently lost jobs or being about to, the ability of many families to rent without income of at least three times the monthly rent, perfect credit or co signers will be predictably low.

I suspect that many of these families will be “lost to follow up” as doctors put it. they will vanish off the staristics. And quite possibly also the voting rolls. If they manage to find new homes, their party affiliation may no longer be reliably Democratic.

Where will they move to? They probably wont be able to live near enough to their former urban communities to maintain a support network they had previously invested so much into maintaining, and the profit represented in the improved quality of thir lives that decades of investment in building ties to neighbors and friends wioll be totally annihilated. Thanks to Kelo v. City of new London, the increased value represented by urban communities will totally be captured by the investor class, totally at the expense of millions of American families. The export of natural gas, the official reason for all this dirruption, wont even last that long, as a large body of evidence points to the amounts of actual natural gas reserves to be substantially lower than is claimed. the US is not another Saudi Arabia, that is just another investment scam, to enrich our rich and powerful.

C’mon Ralph…

The data is being recorded correctly - then the “data gatekeepers” and “data reporters” get their hands on it to re-define and re-purpose it to suit their overseers version of reality. This version is not real or accurate and distorts the truth from the public eye.

Take the simple example of the Unemployment rate in the U.S. - The “Data reporters” tell us that the unemployment rate is currently 10.6%. In fact, just this week all of the national papers ran hallelujah headlines stating that for the 1st week since march weekly claims fell below 1,000,000 (another lie BTW) - woohoo!

The slightly more real U6 unemployment rate is at 22.5% - this includes short-term discouraged and other marginally-attached workers as well as those forced to work part-time because they cannot find full-time employment.

The “REAL UNEMPLOYMENT RATE” sits at around 31% - this includes long-term discouraged workers, who were defined out of official existence in 1994. You know… because people cease to exist after they are out of work for a short time.

I’ll tell you what Ralph - why don’t you focus all of your attention for 1 year on getting the “data gatekeepers” and the “data reporters” to accurately report the REAL UNEMPLOYMENT RATE to the American people.

If you can succeed in this seemingly simple task, then we can focus on other indicators for measuring injustice and societal decay.

Your suggestions are good ones, ones that the planet should be looking at, however, we are in the US which has ‘evolved’ into a very different state than the other countries and we have the exact opposite priorities. We want to privatize education throughout the world, with an emphasis on denying it to those to whom the investment wouldnt pay off by making somebody else rich.

Your suggestions are for a post scarcity world. Which we’re entering, however, we the people of the US are being made an example of by our own leadership for having aspirations, they are quietly gutting all public services, and pulling up the ladders to success, not just here, globally.

We’re being made into examples of how futil having such aspirations must be seen as, we’re being pushed out of the future, to show we mean business. It wouldnt do for us to get any special treatment, other countries would resent that and balk at doing our instructions. Its only if our leaders treat us even worse that they can get away with their scheme.

So we have to get the worst deal of them all.

We need to both fight this monster, and realize that we failed to stop a huge menace back in the late 80s and 90s when this scheme was being formulated.

Now governments are prohibited from doing virtually anything to help people, unless there is no competiition from private industry and the country carves out the service sector first.

We have to change therules in Geneva to bring about any changes that impact the rights we’ve given to corporations (under the US model) and in many cases we will be asked to compensate them (or countries, under the WTO model) for the loss of their property rights in selling it, which we were so generous to give them in the 1990s.

The procedure to buy back our regulatory freedom is in Article XXI of the GATS (not GATT! Some here seem to always want to misspell GATS, perhaps because search engines, networks and blog software is progreammed to hide it? )

In any case, things have been changed and many people are being tasked witgh creating a rosy picture of our future totally unlike the future they are creating for us, to lull us into a false state of security.

Make no mistake, its an emergency. A system that does not allow people to quietly be or grow or thrive unless they pay for the privilege of existing and the potentuially costly commodities that enable that existence to the owners of them, the corporations, is almost fully in place. All our leaders have to do is keep everything the same for the theft of our planet to lock in.

Unless we have the means to afford to stay, after losing our means of supporting ourselves, we’ll soon be asked to leave to make way for the new owners.

It’s for a cause, by helping the most unequal nations oligarchs, we help decrease the ratio of North billionaires to South billonaires.

“8 A society that requires its people to incur crushing debt to survive, while relying on casinos and other forms of gambling to produce jobs, is going backward into the future.”

This is the crux of the problem. Incurring debt to put a roof over your head, buy food, get an education, etc. blinds people to the real problem of a greed driven political system that is NOT a democracy of, by, or for the people. It’s just another form of slavery; a hamster wheel for the masses…

What is needed it seems to me is another EMANCIPATION PROCLAMATION! One that frees the American people from: ECONOMIC SLAVERY.

Gerry Pence: " In America we have achieved the Orwellian prediction-enslaved the people have been programed to love their bondage and are left to clutch only mirage-like images of freedom its fables and fictions."

What I think is needed is a second revolution just like the first one against the oligarchy of the British, but this time against US and global empire/oligarch. Then the States can get together for another constitutional convention to write a new governing document that is of, by, and for the people instead of the landed 9read rich, white, propertied males like the first one.

Thomas Jefferson said much the same and he was talking about our time when to paraphrase: the tree of Liberty must be watered from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

This is crazy talk. If there’s one thing sensible people should realize by now is that violence just begets more violence. All your fantasy revolution would accomplish is to create more suffering in this broken nation, and it will never succeed because the US government has the most powerful and well-funded military in the world at its disposal.
