I think it’s too soon to be advising candidates (yes, that I AGREE with) to proactively give up the ghost. Especially when either one of them would be several steps up from our current abysmal abortion-of-a President.
One way or the other, one of them will get the pick, and the other one will get the VP slot in the ticket. At this point, I don’t think one has any more credibility than the other, whether it’s Bernie, or Elizabeth.
ESPECIALLY since, for both of them, since they AGREE with each other as to the needs of the country (which notably INCLUDES, for both of them, the needs of the CITIZENS of the country), whether or not one or the other “gets” the top slot in the ticket, the other of that pair WILL be doing valuable, or even notable, things as well in the VP role.
Because these two are already making themselves valuable partners to each other – as the best of ticket-mates do.
I’d just avoid panicking for now, since they do get along so well with each other’s priorities.
