It sounds as if they forgot their own mission:

It’s going to take a Matriarch to remind them.
I’ll believe that they’re sincere ONLY if they go all-in to Punt P’Loser in the Primary.
If this is the d-party moving a pawn or two on the 2-party chess board, who cares?
