And…we’re off! I said from day one the Biden admin would go straight to austerity. What fascist f*cks. In the end, the Clinton-Obama-Biden triumvirate will be the end of this country.

Well Joe , right on schedule with the business as usual corporate shilling and destruction of social services .
We spent the last four years trashing Trump , so get ready for a tsunami of disapproval if you keep up this sht up .
Joe is also telling us that he will hire people on the Right as a show of
solidarity ??? Really Joe , solidarity with those that will throw you under the bus at a moments notice ?
There will be NO unity with those that supported Trump . Your a FOOL for even thinking such nonsense .

Support a guaranteed “livable Income” for all Americans especially the unemployed/unemployable, the mentally/emotionally/physically disabled/dysfunctional, the homeless, etc. Compassion is a Virtue, lack of it is a definite vice.

do not hold your breath–Biden has tried to cut SSI and Medicare on numerous occasions–as did his former boss Obama–I fully expect this to be the next big betrayal disguised as “reform”–just like when Clinton “reformed welfare”–

Oh, he doesn’t think that nonsense, its only words meant to fool his supporters.

Shoulda, woulda, could’a…

While we were being sternly lectured, against inconvenient truth-telling (like NYC’s 25K COVID fatalities, PA fracking, CA firestorms & Prop 22 BS… were blatantly bipartisan as DNC/ DCCC sneeringly BRAGS about SERVING us… to their 0.01% sugar-daddies). We’d accurately guessed the real result of yuppie boomer/ Creative Class craven, suck-uppedness that playing DNC’s bad cop/ CRAZY Nazi cop protection scam results in crisis capitalism deaths o’ disparity; Black, Latinx, WOMEN and poor white “essentials” being fed to a frigging virus, just to flip our loved ones’ homes, FURTHER indenture survivors with usurious medical debt; bail out lethal pyramid schemes like fracking; basically, foment precariate violence, setting half the working class against the other. If you think any of this is subliminal on the part of our betters, you gotta ask why Bezos, Gates, Bloomberg, Musk, Omidyar… are all buying up think-tanks, the Koch’s forgot? Back to NORMAL!
trolls seem unencumbered by embarrassment, pontificating diametrically opposed obfuscation, with equal vehemence?

Austerity is the opposite of what is needed right now. We don’t need another Herbert Hoover administration. Deficits are not the problem.

Well, we already know that is the case with the 1%, who do nothing to benefit society and only take from it.

On the other hand, most people will actually work if their basic needs are cared for. It just might be what they actually want to do with their lives. Plus, obviously there are some basic functions that have to happen for society to exist. I’ve got faith in people that together they can figure out what needs to get done and how to do it.

How may of you dummies voted for Biden when what you really want is someone who will look out for the vulnerable and middle class?

I ask you, why did you not vote for someone on the ballot who is committed to doing that?

Did they scare you into it again? Americans have been getting frightened into voting against the other guy my whole life.

Like the word parsing lawyer scum that he is - Biden clearly stated he would “protect and expand” social security.

I’ll unpack this beltway lawyer speak for you -

“Protect” means he’ll slash your benefits to “save” social security.
“Expand” means he’ll give illegals (etc) free benefits at the expense of the middle class.

it’s a win-win.

Class over.

Um, in case you weren’t aware, Biden isn’t reading this article, let alone the comments section.

Guessed, that was our reactionaries’ REAL issue with GND, M4A, debt relief or living-wage policies. Those, constantly berating, vilifying & straw-manning actual FDR Democrats might think themselves “pragmatic grown-ups,” but they’re really channeling their white-flight suburban country club Republican parents, who’s “racist avarice they’d rejected,” once they’d smoked dope, gentrified poor folks out & set to extractive miscegenation, vituperative virtue signalling, pouty privileged peckerwood pontificaton? Co-opting Co-ops, conflating crucial community concerns… perhaps our conservative concern trolls never noticed Murika’s constant upwards-redistribution of OUR property, equity, labor… and kids, to steal other folks STUFF (welfare, too: both in blue or camo, taxpayer weapons & military equipment?) Socializing their losses, privatizing our indentiture, selling our DEBT?

Taken straight from the right’s playbook.

It’ll probably be past our lifetimes but a UBI will eventually be commonplace. No one asks to be born. Jobs/busywork/drudgery will someday, for most, be a thing of the past. Most work will be automated. For humans to progress, we need to focus more on our minds rather than pushing around a cart of apples all day.

The enlightened Buckminster Fuller:

“We should do away with the absolutely specious notion that everybody has to earn a living. It is a fact today that one in ten thousand of us can make a technological breakthrough capable of supporting all the rest. The youth of today are absolutely right in recognizing this nonsense of earning a living. We keep inventing jobs because of this false idea that everybody has to be employed at some kind of drudgery because, according to Malthusian Darwinian theory he must justify his right to exist. So we have inspectors of inspectors and people making instruments for inspectors to inspect inspectors. The true business of people should be to go back to school and think about whatever it was they were thinking about before somebody came along and told them they had to earn a living.”

Without a UBI our capitalist society will quite quickly devolve into the dystopian future presented in the Terry Gilliam movie “Brazil”.

The Biden side of the one party system is simply doing what the Perma Death MIC machine, and the wealthy criminals who run things want. Saying “if” like there is some possibility of any change, of any kind in our economic or military policies is a sign of pronounced ignorance. Why Common Dreams can’t find people who write from a position of reality escapes me. In reality our government is a deranged, insane and out of control fascist monster. Every single one of Bidens cabinet so far have been people who are part of this established criminal enterprise. OF course.

FO smart ass.

The Insanity of America.

Indeed it was a great accomplishment to finally get rid of one of the worst human beings to ever occupy the White House.

The reason I could not vote for Biden is because of his horrific record as a politician, I honestly could not figure out which candidate was worse, Biden or Trump.

All you had to do was to look at Biden’s 40 year record to realize he is a Warmonger, who wholeheartedly supported the Invasion of Iraq, an automatic disqualification for me, he is a Corporate Puppet and always supported his Corporate Donors over We The People, he boasted on the floor of the Senate that he tried to Cut Social Security and Medicare 3 times but failed.

I could go on and on about Biden’s Conservative Republican record.

I am still uncertain if his early stages of Senility have softened his willingness to drop bombs on innocent civilians that did absolutely nothing to us, despite the fact that he tried to hide behind the Weapons of Mass Destruction Lie.

Yes the Insanity of America is profoundly obvious when we reject the only Humane Human Being in Congress, Bernie Sanders, and are given a choice between 2 disgusting greedy obnoxious Politicians.

Rank Choice Voting would take care of that… Vote for Bernie and if he don’t win, your vote goes to bidden.
