Stand By Me (one of his non-horror, coming-of-age stories)
Nobody will ever equal Kubrick’s adaptation of The Shining. Freaking masterpiece. King himself hated all the liberties Kubrick took, and tried to produce something more faithful, which turns out to be the worst possible adaptation (unintentionally hilarious, with the topiary gallumphing about) of a King novel.
From here on out, whenever I mention Bernie’s name in a comment (whether here, some other news site or for a local Letter to the Editor), I am going to refer to him as President Sanders. We all should.

Yours is the best workaround I have seen yet. I can highlight the link (without the ~) and right click to ‘open in new tab’. Thanks for that. The first commenter (< this is weird, the spell check on my computer says the word ‘commenter’ is wrong but is fine with the plural version! ha! go figure!) on each news article should make a note of that to allow for an easy way of sharing links.

Yea, i was thinking the same thing. What’s the point of showing how much you can raise in donations for various organizations(which already should be governmental functions to donate; meals on wheels). Why not stage a protest in front of a hospital that is in dire need of masks and ventilators? If Bernie really wants to “stand-out” in this moment of national crisis, he needs to do a superhero move. He will then be recognized as the true candidate to be the leader of the free world.

It seems to me, Bernie should move to a different type of movement instead of how much money he can raise. It’s frankly getting a little suspicious at this point. He’s too far behind in the delegate count, so what’s the point in raising more cash unless he’s hiding some of it under a rug. He needs to think outside the box and prove he’s a true socialist and not a capitalist. Here’s my suggestion: inform all his surrogates to gather his base and march to the capital and demand change; medicare for all, student debt gone, no more wars for money, etc. etc.
Good idea! Let’s encourage tens of thousands of people to march to and gather in front of the nation’s Capitol. What could possibly go wrong with that!
In the US, we have been teetering on the edge for years. It sure has changed from when I was growing up. The government was afraid of us, which is as it should be. Richard Nixon surrounded the White House grounds with buses lined up nose-to-tail, and whined to Henry Kissinger that “they’re coming for me, Henry!”
And we were.

Would Biden ever do this? Hell no, unless his aides told him it would look good. He has been hidden since this crisis exploded. Why? Because he is not capable of knowing, as a human being, what needs to be done, without consulting and plagiarizing. Bernie Sanders puts his actions where his his mouth is. He’s the one showing leadership at a critical time, not Biden.

When you think about it, Bernie’s job is to instill false hope into a population which must provide for itself in the end, while government extorts us to fund corporate outcomes.
The only lesson from Bernie is the need for a People’s Party even though he want’s to herd us back into the Demcorporate pen.

There’s an article in my mornng paper about ByeDone’s “visibility problem” – attributed to the coronavirus, but there’s so much that needs to be said, were a person willing to stand up and say it. In the midst of this, ByeDone has no thought to share with “the people” – What a tragically empty vessel!

YOU were complaining that the people of Laguna Honda have no help and that you can’t help. I suggested that you contact Bernie people to see if there is any way to aid them , as Bernie is helping many now.-, including the often forgotten domestic workers. That is what the article spoke about–how bernie is helping many in chairataleb ways .
And, I did write that “Answers come often if a question is asked.” HELP is a good word to start with-------but—who did you ask for help, as writing that the people in Laguna Honda have no help isn’t helpful unless you do more than complain. : (
