'Not Qualified': Critics Decry Bigoted Views of Trump's Pick to Replace Kavanaugh on DC Circuit Court

Julia Conley, staff writer

President Donald Trump is hoping to fill Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh's former seat on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit with a former law professor whose early writings on the government and justice betrayed misogynist and bigoted views—leaving critics concerned on Monday that the president is remaking the country's second-highest court in his own image.

In the photograph, she is surrounded by people from her ethnicity. This is a detail that escapes most Americans when it comes to Indians (from the subcontinent, not Native Americans). They sense of morality is very different from what we hold dear in the West. Very disturbing.

Wow, what a sad woman… I wonder, if she gets accepted--------maybe someone will bring her a Starbucks coffee with an added dimension—and---- oh well, she would be totally responsible for being raped–right? sigh----- What a sad human she is.

When you look at her legal reasoning, this woman can’t walk and chew gum at the same time. To use her analogy, if you’re walking down the sidewalk and get hit by a car, you’re fault, you knew you might be run over before you started walking.

Nothing like a blanket smear of 1.3+ billion people. Was it Big Data that gave you this insight, or do you just know a lot of bad Indians?

I seem to remember a similar sentiment expressed by General William Westmoreland as he conducted a war based on body count. I can only hope that Monckton’s prejudices don’t lead to a similar bloodbath.

In my long career in science and business I have known many Indians. Anyone who is observant and has come into close interaction with Indians understands what I meant in my comment. Indians have elevated the art of back stabbing to a level Americans don’t even suspect it is possible. What I say is an open secret which is not talked about very much, and unless you are in certain professions, you are unlikely to have experienced it yourself.

Screw draining the swamp, it’s time for some toilet bowl cleaner folks.
It’s hard to believe we are ready to protest all of the issues that have plagued us, but can’t organize to protest the onslaught of a government takeover.

This is not only about moving our courts to the right, it’s about corrupting them –
and the GOP’s 2 perverts on the Supreme Court now isn’t coincidence.

By the way, I happened upon a C-span program about 10 days or so ago where there
were discussions of Justice Kozinski-9th Circuit Court - a court which the right wing is
very anxious to capture. Many here probably know more about this than the little I know
but Kavanaugh worked for Kozinski who was long the subject of rumors and complaints
for pushing pornographic material on employees working for the Court and for sexual
harassment of females working at the Court. Sometimes insisting that employees stay
to watch pornographic video/films he’d play in his office. And he also would circulate
sexually based jokes and material via email to a regular list of addressees. There were
also complaints by females of being groped by Kozinski.
Kavanaugh denied any knowledge of any of this though he worked for Kozinski at one time.
9th Circuit Judge Alex Kozinski steps down after accusations of sexual misconduct

PS from the article …
President Trump, who has been sued over allegations of sexual misconduct and accused of sexual assault, will appoint Kozinski’s successor.

However, the C-span program which I saw only part of featured various panels already existing
directed to look more seriously at long time complaints of female law students and female lawyers
clerking for Justices. Also for the panels to interview these women in law to hear their views on
already made recommendations and their own suggestions on recommendations.
