Over 200 Groups Demand EPA Revise Dangerously Flawed Fracking Study

Lauren McCauley, staff writer

The Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) flawed assessment that fracking has not led to "widespread, systemic impacts on drinking water resources in the United States" must be urgently corrected, more than 200 environmental and public interest groups demanded in a letter (pdf) to EPA chief Gina McCarthy on Monday.

I had hoped Obama would be better than Cheney. He isn't and Hillary would be even worse.

This is what happens when Politically Appointed Party Hacks are in charge of any Federal Agency.

They Buy their way into the job and can be Bought, in turn, by anyone with a campaign contribution.

Plus, in many cases, they don't Leave when the party that appointed them does. Instead they slide sideways into a Permanent Civil Service slot and "Burrow In", affecting the agency for years as "Moles" for their party.
