Passing Gun Legislation Is Not That F#cking Hard

At a memorial service for the California shooting victims that drew over 20,000 people, grieving father Richard Martinez told politicians to stop making condolence calls - "I don't care about your sympathy" - and start making gun control happen, blasting an NRA that works "to normalize this (gun violence) like it's an act of nature." The Onion echoes him in, "'No Way to Prevent This,' Says Only Nation Where This Regularly Happens." Last year, they likewise posted helpful tips for politiicians working on gun control. They begin: "Write gun control legislation. Pass gun control legislation."

"Consider if overwhelming public support for a particular measure is something you want to be associated with...Put on your stupid little suit, run a comb through your greasy hair, go to the U.S Capitol building, pick up your fancy little gold pen, and pass a fucking gun control bill."
