So scientists know the damage that is being done to the climate by fossil fuels and the scale of that damage by the respective fossil fuels from coal to NG to methane to oil to shale oil. They also know that hydro power is NOT a clean or renewable source of power…droughts happen and due to overpopulation reservoirs are being drained dry leaving turbines sitting idle.
If Biden is serious and more than just spewing rhetoric about global warming, then he needs to form a penalty system (tax penalty) against each of the fossil fuel categories and the firms that operate in those segments. This means Biden and the Democrats can no longer be corporate Democrats…because it is the for-profit corporations who are the problem. Example: Warren Buffet and Berkshire Hathaway owns BNSR railroad and rail lines. BNSF’s largest cash cow is transporting coal from Wyoming to the pacific coast for export to China. Biden has done nothing to stop US coal exports to China. We are #2 on supplying coal to China behind Australia. Biden has the power to stop the export of coal…right now!

Countries using coal need to convert to other energy sources, even if it means less automation and redesigning back to older practices of human labor.
This will never happen.
We must end all food aid to over crowded populations and generational refugee camp and allow attrition to create a sustainable population. This is our only hope for survival.
Once again here we are still talking about what needs to be done, when the alarms sounded decades ago about the catastrophic consequences of methane release. This insatiable appetite of Corporate driven Capitalism, materialism, is literally going to become, has begun, a mass extinction event for this planet. And what is even more alarming is that the current addiction to power and money is on steroids. Which means no one is really listening outside of the alarmists.

Maybe we could just kill them with invented viruses. Or we could send our military to help them start civil wars to kill themselves. In either case fuck em, they’ve just people, and we wouldn’t want to limit out corporation’s actions for something so unimportant.
Problem is too many babies - until that fact is accepted and dealt with, all other efforts are doomed to failure.
MethaneSat, to be launched next year, will identify sources of methane pollution, but on-the-ground action will be necessary to immediately address them. This should be a funding priority for the EPA. The clock is ticking and we’re not sticking to what must be done to keep everything clicking. Climate change deniers? Vote them out of office the very next chance you get! Do your part personally, too, since every positive contribution makes a difference.
the Biden administration has already demonstrated their extreme science denial on many fronts–do I expect him to deliver for the environment on this issue–not really–he and his party gets way to much money from the industry and have been corrupted to the core by corporate cash for many decades–hell they can’t even deliver on the piss poor environmental part of the reconciliation bill(or even the bill itself)–because of the corporate corruption of our politicians
