Now, just imagine what our country COULD be like, if we had 40-60 remarkable legislators like these, actually representing their constituencies & Americans (of disparate persuasions?) We need to Resist DCCC’s Resistance™ to actual democracy. And there is no realistic option. The Democrats had many excellent down-ticket options Federal, State and Municipal they’d stomped down for ALEC in 2016. It’s remarkable, we’d managed to elect four actal representatives in 2018. But this story typifies WHY DNC and DCCC (along with the corporate media) are so intent to stomp down dissent. The more these women accomplish, the nastier this is likely to get (thank god, they’re obviously up to it… IF we all step up & take their back?)

"Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions."

That’s all that needs to be said.

Teach the murderous regime of the Zionists a lesson they won’t soon forget.

This piece soft-peddles or ignores too many crimes and subversive political operations by the zionist state - high among other aspects of Israeli politics BDS Movement is trying to end!. Israel’s ethnic cleansing, subversion of US politics, Congress and politicians to pressure/force opposition to the BDS Movement, provide obscene US foreign aid that feeds the illegal “settler” colonization of The Occupied Territories, building the illegal settlements, ethnic cleansing of the Bedouin in the Negev, pressuring and fomenting war against Iran, and only skims the surface of Israeli war crimes and mass killings.

Israeli domination and censorship over the media/journalists/colleges isn’t limited to the BDS Movement, but all the Occupied Territories, targeting journalists, first-responders and ambulances, targeting civilian infrastructure, water resources, homes, olive orchards, .and using banned and indiscriminate weapons against civilians. If Americans knew the atrocities the Israeli IDF and other forces have committed and lied as a government and nation to cover them-up, there would be more demands to end all aid to wealthy Israel, sanction its racist extremist leaders, and end “co-operation” and “training” (read indoctrination) of US Border Agents, other police agencies, military, and end the de facto role of AIPAC as a Fifth Columnist agent of o foreign power.

BDS ! Zionism IS Racism !

https://deadlyexchange.org/immigration-and-customs-enforcement-ice-and-deadly-exchange/ - "The horrific impacts of border militarization and the practices of racist agencies like Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) on border communities, immigrants, and people of color across the US have been well documented for years (see resources below).
Feeding into US imperialist policy, Israel has been an important partner and supporter of the militarization of the border and border agencies in a number of ways:"

BDS ! End the racist crimes and killings Now !

I am a BDS supporter, and I am horrified by Israeli policies and actions. That said, I don’t understand why we send ANY aid to Israel. They have healthcare and free education and we do not. Our ‘military aid’ is obviously not needed. Oh. Wait. What this ‘aid’ is, is really modern US corporate welfare to arms manufacturers. The US is financing (no interest, no repayment!) Israel’s war at the expense of its own citizens and infrastructure.

Lets face it, the day of reckoning for the support for israel by the American people would have come about much quicker if our government didn’t allow israeli leaders to dictate the narrative.

total nonsense, BDS s not working, the Israeli economy is booming n comparison to the Palestinian and Arab lands where they are feuding and sometimes killing each other not to speak of suppressing gays, religious minorities, the media. But some progressives seem to care about Arab rights only if Israel can be blamed.
What is not working is the Palestinian strategy of rejecting all compromises in hopes the Jews could be compelled to go away. Where, back to Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Egypt (where about 1/2 of the Jewish population comes from?? Not going to happen!
Israel made a stupid decision but let us remember at heart the BDS the Congresswomen support is anti-peace since it makes both Israelis and Palestinians less likely to make the necessary compromises, the only way that can actually improve lives.

Excellent post. And let’s not forget the extensive use of blackmail by the Israelis, estimated to include over half of Congress. Here’s a great interview with Whitney Webb on her dynamite series of articles about Israel’s history of using sexual blackmail to control American politicians.

The article does not claim BDS is economically effective, but politically effective.

Weiss’s declared and obvious point is that - helped by the government’s own anti-BDS action - the BDS movement has catalyzed opposition to its West Bank policies, including demands to link US foreign aid to the ‘Palestinian question.’

Advance thanks for supporting that otherwise worthless claim - starting with the supposed prior willingness to “compromise” of a state that has gone increasingly hard right in the last decade, so that it is now an exemplary illiberal democracy…

…a state that has increasingly used its power to reject not only international but internal criticism of its policies - for example, it’s military role in the Bosnian genocide:

Challenges to “support for israel by the American people would have come about much quicker if our government didn’t allow israeli leaders to dictate the narrative.”

As I’ve stated at different times on CD, I have a different view of US political, financial and military support of the Israel government and its policies, Recon.

The US has not been a passive or subservient vehicle of an Israeli “narrative,” imo; rather, both the US right and liberals have had - and continue to have - their own political reasons (both domestic and foreign policy) for actively supporting and manufacturing rationales for the evil policies of Israel.

How to put it…the toxic substance of Israeli propaganda is not simply imported, but a home-made product…and to the massive degree that the US government does import that toxin from abroad, it does so because it serves its own domestic right wing and foreign policy agenda.

Yes, but the fourth, Pressley, broke ranks and voted for the censure bill. So maybe we are down to three.
