Nothing that Chief Justice Roberts does will keep him or the majority on his court from looking or being perceived as foolish!

yes the supreme court does have a sordid history and it should not be venerated to the extreme of high intelligence. these stories involve the death of those who should be jailed for life in consideration that redemption is a quality that can be obtained despite a heinous crime. a quality society enlightened by the great spirit is an obedient society and a progressive society. a supreme court that rules 'money is free speech' is a court that is permissive and helpful in the destruction of democracy. proof is in the pudding!!!
