President Trump’s Insatiable Appetite for Regime Change

President Trump’s Insatiable Appetite for Regime Change

Jesse Jackson

Push is coming to shove in Venezuela.

President Donald Trump has decided that the government of President Nicolás Maduro must go.

Senior officials—led by John Bolton, Trump’s super-hawk national security adviser, and Elliott Abrams, stained by his cover-up and lies about death squads in El Salvador and contras in Nicaragua in the 1980s—boast publicly about their plots for regime change.

Trump is picking up from where Obama left off.

The sanctions and destabilazation efforts against Venezuela were ongoing under Obama.
Obama wanted regime change in Syria and worked towards that goal.
Obama wanted regime change in Yemen and worked towards that goal.
Obama wanted regime change in the Ukraine and worked towards that goal.

The insatiable appetite for regime change is very much a Government of the United States of America thing.

Read some William Blum.

Re “Surely, we should have learned from Libya that a bad state is not nearly as bad as a failed state.”

The U.S., UAE etc. are busy installing a bad government in Libya–headed by their tool Hafter.

Trump didn’t come up with regime change. He’s just continuing the MIC / Corporate game plan we have been executing CONTINUOUSLY since the 50’s. This is not our first rodeo in South America either

The Monroe Doctrine stated that the US Government has the right to ensure a US friendly government in power in any nations in the Americas wherein they could topple the Government of any nations Government that did not work in the best interests of the USA

The Truman Doctrine claimed the US had the right to do the very same thing in Western Europe and Eastern Asia where under that Doctrine the USA toppled Governments from Greece to Vietnam if they did not work in the best interests of the USA

The Carter Doctrine claims the USA has the right to do this in any nation in the Middle East.

Is their any corner of the World that the USA does not claim as their own?

This coming from a Country that is pushing the world to war because they claim Russia meddles in other nations?

This one Country that needs to be erased from the pages of History. Everyone would be better off and no this not about the people there, it about that Government.

We have such short memories! Doesn’t anyone but me remember the PNAC document? I read it before Bush Jr declared war on Iraq. It hasn’t gone away, yanno. These bozos are using it as their playbook just like everyone has since it was written in the late 90s.

See my previous reply about PNAC the answer to your question is there. They clearly spell out the intention to exercise and ensure TOTAL FULL SPECTRUM DOMINANCE which in layman’s terms means Ruling The World. The whole world. Not just some of it. Not sharing. Taking it all. And by ‘they’ we mean the 1%, so if they benefit, you can rest assured you will not.

I’m so glad I’m old now. I’m coming, Elizabeth…!

A leader of the whole world. That’s going to require one hell of a huge revolution to fight back at that horror.

The money spent on “regime change” and having more than a 1000 military bases in other country,s should be cut by at least 75 per cent and instead spent on helping lower and middle class Americans and some modernization of the country’s infrastructure.

Also in case readers are wondering why not all federal spending on the the military,s and the deep state,s activity’s abroad is America imports large quantity’s of oil and natural gas(despite the propaganda from the shale industry) and its economy is extremely dependent on large amounts of oil and gas and also at a cheap price.Even food production and distribution is very fossil fuel dependent. And If the American military and CIA can,t force middle east oil exporters to border on give away there oil and gas there be a chance of oil and gas supplies been cut off and that would lead to large scale unrest, unemployment, business collapses, poverty, etc in alot of the world and to avoid that scenario a more gradual decline in spending on the military should be pursued.

“Senior officials—led by John Bolton, Trump’s super-hawk national security adviser, and Elliott Abrams, stained by his cover-up and lies about death squads in El Salvador and contras in Nicaragua in the 1980s—boast publicly about their plots for regime change,” but with the forthcoming election of the Democrat war criminal vice president who recently served under the Democrat war criminal president these mere “plots” will be brought to powerful action. .
