Protest Condemns 'Horrible Politics of Division' as Fascist Jair Bolsonaro Arrives in US to Meet With Trump

Jake Johnson, staff writer

As Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro arrived in Washington, D.C. on Sunday ahead of a planned meeting with his U.S. counterpart Donald Trump, demonstrators rallied outside the White House to condemn the "horrible politics of division" deployed by both leaders to gain power and harm vulnerable communities.

The People and the Planet cannot suffer much more of the likes of Trump and Bolsonaro, who are essentially humanitarian and ecological criminals. Until they and their ranks are reined into check we can only expect to watch as irreversible processes swallow what is left of quality life on earth. Happy Fucking Monday, Folks.

What an opportune time to drop a “Love Bomb” on top of two "Heads of Hate."

Discordance and death instead of rhythm more truthful…

Bolsonaro is the lap dog for agribusiness, Monsanto-Bayer (so far this year he has allowed 29 agrotoxins banned in US and EU). JBS CAFOS are here - check out the familiar names. Mining companies both Brazilian and international suck on the teat of natural resources. Brazil is being regressed back to a export colony for the transnationals. Trump and Bolsonaro are simply crossing guards doing the bidding of their masters and they are on very, very short leashes.

BolsonaroĹ› gang is ruthless. The National Indian Foundation (FUNAI), which does the work of Constitutional verification and ratification of Indigenous Lands has been dismantled. Guess which ministry now controls Indigenous rights to land? You guessed it: Ministry of Agribusiness - I mean agriculture.
Environmental news site Mongabay is staying abreast of the reporting on the abuses.

Sleaze balls both. Displaying the worst impulses of humanity.

A visible lesson in what we don’t want to be.

Screw US if we allow our country to continue be an imperialist regime. We need at least tens of millions to protest.
We have no one claiming, promoting, and fighting for moral authority. It’s obvious because we have had no effective deterrent to last few conflicts we have started. And no resolution to the original ones 18-19 years ago.

Ten million would convey the message.

Who will be the organizing force?

The Democrats?

We may have a better chance with the Girl Scouts taking the lead.

It may be a socialist store, it is not a communist store.

Fits perfectly with his supermarket trip at the fully stocked, capitalist grocery.

The Media keeps on harping about alleged Russian interference in our election. The US has been interfering in other nations’ affairs for hundreds of years. The Media should talk about but won’t talk about how much the USA meddles in other nations’ affairs. Trump rigged Brazil’s elections in Bolsonaro’s favor & he and Bolsonaro are working on a way to oust Maduro & install Guaido.

The Corporate State Media (CSM) is simply an arm of the Corporate State. They only read today’s approved script. We should expect nothing other than that.

Sure, I’d love it to be the Green Party, however, nobody gives them any money, and it will take money to put such a protest in motion.

Let me say, there are those of us who donate to the “People, Planet, and Peace before Profit” party but there’s not enough of us enlightened enough to give the party the national push they need to mount a competitive campaign.

Sad, but true, we are a nation addicted to "liars, cheats, and racists."

What’s an open-minded individual to do but support the truth?

No lesser evil for this citizen.

Support any evil, and we all die sooner than Nature intended.

"Principals" my good man, are for those of us who live by them.

Two peas in a pod.

My question: WHEN ARE WE GOING TO HAVE REGIME CHANGE HERE? All it takes for fascists like Trump and Bolsonaro to stay in power is for the good people of America to stay insouciant, apathetic, and silent.

The criminality is increasing in our US system. This can only be accomplished with a passive, historically ignorant population. “Friendly Fascism” (a book) is alive and well and ascending in our system.
