Thanks yet again, Abby.

Decades ago, when studying abnormal psychology, I had NO CLUE how prevalent sociopathy was…or would become. Now our Congress and many legislatures are full of greedy, ambitious selfish people of no conscience, i.e., sociopaths. The GOP is made up of an even higher proportion of sociopaths. I’m pretty sure the cause isn’t chemicals in our drinking water or god’s will, so what IS the cause? (Don’t interpret this to mean that I let Dem sociopaths off any hook.)

More important, what is the solution to getting rid of that part of our species?

Finely this appears to be over, a long fought, well deserved victory for my firefighting brothers and sisters. Now how about we focus on educating the public as to what really happened that morning, and bringing the real perpetrators to justice.
Part one, what was done: You’re up Dr. Judy Wood.

Now if someone could just get them to do right by the rest of us.

Hi Papa Santa Claus:
If the members of Congress had to pay all their own health care, as so many Americans do, maybe they would understand why compassion is so important.

Unending gratitude to John Stewart. Another “evil Jew” who could be lying on a beach with his millions but chose to use his fame to help those dedicated workers. I like heroes who AREN’T gun toting mercenaries.

I failed to give recognition where it’s deserved in my above post.
John thank you from the bottom of my heart, you have been consistent champion for the 9/11 first responders through the years, rest assured we will not forget it.

I consider that comment an anti-Semitic stereotype-trope, and if I see you do that again, I’ll flag you.

What the hell is with you? Rich selfish people who indulge only themselves come from every ethnic, nationality, and religious category.

The number of Sociopaths in the USA grows because the economic system rewards the Sociopath over any other. The environment the people are raised in creates Sociopaths . The road forwards is to abandon CAPITALism and adopt Socialism. Any system that focuses on the well being of money over the well being of the people is a breeding ground for more Sociopaths.

Agreed. Thx.

We need a different word for “socialism” principles and practices. Stoopid people, brainwashed transgenerationally, in this country attach incredible negative connotations to the word and can’t see what programs, some of which they already benefit from, and other ideas would be good for the country! They don’t comprehend what “socialism” already exists which they accept unquestioning…like the military.

I take it that you don’t watch much news, and are unfamiliar with the use of quotation marks. Flag away.

Unfortunately any new word that one could come up with in the USA would evoke an immediate program by the Sociopaths, the media and those well funded “Think Tanks” to condition the population to see that new word as a negative as well. I think that rather than try and find a new word one better of working to counter the CONDITIONING.

Easier said than done.

You’re right. I don’t watch MSM news. Weak stomach in my old age.
Had you put everything from Another to millions in quotes, I wouldn’t have reacted like I did. You try to be more sensitive and exact and I’ll try to be less reactive. Ok?

That took only eighteen years. Exceptional.

Right. Since it’s generally accepted that how we gain our wealth is no one else’s business, that leaves the door wide open for the mentality that is slowly doing us in. Not the best example, but comes to mind: Tom Steyer is a billionaire, which we know he “earned” as a hedge fund manager. The ethics of whether the hedge fund per se is constructive or destructive is never open to debate or moral consideration.

Hey Toni, off topic, but just letting you know, part two of the Epstein story at MPN was posted yesterday. I was wrong in our original conversation, there’s going to be more than 2 parts.
RF.

Thanks, Brian. If I can’t find it, I’ll let you know…later on…gotta get into a gear now.
