Last week, Irving, Texas high school freshman Ahmed Mohamed brought a clock he had made to school to show his engineering teacher. School administrators raised concerns that it looked like a bomb, and the Sudanese-American teen was questioned without his parents, taken into custody and suspended from school for three days.

► C'mon, Allie. The clock was a Radio Shack creation. The boy just stuck it in a toy suitcase and took it to school. He knew what he was doing, and even said he considered the suspicious appearance.

I think he played us all just right, and it worked like a charm
