Relief for Immigrants as Court Blocks "Patently Unconstitutional" Law in Texas

While several of Texas' Southeastern cities are still enduring the heavy floods caused by Hurricane Harvey, immigrant advocates and undocumented residents breathed a sigh of relief on Wednesday night, when a federal district court temporarily halted a new state law that would ban sanctuary cities, just two days before it was scheduled to take effect.

I find myself constantly thinking these days:
That which they attempt to do to the most marginalized among us is at the same time being studied and calibrated to be used against you, me and folks I have yet to meet.
End the legitimacy of metrics that demand that ‘profit’ be allowed to be built on the alienation of whomever and whatever the greedy bastards want.
