Report: US-Backed Forces Committing Atrocities, Fueling Sectarianism in Iraq

Sarah Lazare, staff writer

An investigation released Wednesday adds to mounting evidence that U.S.-backed forces in Iraq are committing atrocities and fueling sectarianism in the war on ISIS.

They learned their lessons from US forces not only from instruction but from observation of ongoing atrocities that were perpetrated yet left unreported. Reading this article and others like it about conflict throughout the Middle East (and spreading) along with the perpetuation of avowed warmongers like Netanyay-hoo and I think of Barry McGuire's song, Eve of Destruction (see: http://artists.letssingit.com/barry-mcguire-lyrics-eve-of-destruction-s1m88lj#axzz3UrNmn9axs) with the refrain,
But you tell me
Over and over and over again, my friend
Ah, you don't believe
We're on the eve
of destruction.
