Rubio's "Explosion at Germán Dam" Error Exposes Deeper Dishonesty of US Venezuela Policy

Eoin Higgins, staff writer

A U.S. Senator's claim about Venezuela Sunday made him the subject of ridicule, but the underlying message of destabilizing the Latin American country remains official American policy—even as the role of sanctions is ignored.

On Sunday morning, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) tweeted that a power failure and subsequent blackout in Venezuela was due to an accident at a location known as "German Dam."

Don’t worry, the administration, aided and abetted by useful idiots like Rubio, will find an excuse to start a war. It’ll be based on lies, that’s a guarantee.

If Trump starts a war in Venezuela, it will be because Nutty Yahoo urged him to. Venezuela is a non-Muslim, non-Arab Majority nation but Nutty Yahoo would want there because it is pro-Palestinian & has no diplomatic ties with Israel. Guaido would establish diplomatic ties & have the embassy in Jerusalem Guaido is a lot like Bolsonaro & Trump.

This idiot actually ran for the Presidential nomination for the Republican party. Apparently in spite of his stupidity, he was not deemed stupid enough to run the Country.

One of these fine days we will run up against more than one country with fair Military’s and we will then resort to Nuke’s . .hell the Taliban took our wealth and then threw us out .

Why are our allies not deserting us for such machinations? They are complicit in the misery we have caused the Venezuelans if they do not denounce us.

Actually, Trump would invade Venezuela because the Koch brother’s oil is under Venezuela’s soil. See Jimmy Dore’s recent interview with Greg Palast.
