WASHINGTON - During a Senate floor speech today on criminal justice reform, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) reiterated his long-standing opposition to the death penalty and called for marijuana to be removed from a list of drugs outlawed by the federal government.
As Hillary came out in favor of continuation, Sen. Sanders counterpunches and takes the moral and economic high ground. Compare and contrast these two as the plot thickens. How many real Progressives support the Death Penalty? Hell, a Republican unicameral legislative body in Nebraska nixed it. Maybe the death penalty is just Hillary's way of saying to the Ricketts Family, I'm open for business, as usual.
