Separating Super PACs From ‘Campaign Spending,’ Media Embrace Core Myth of Citizens United

Adam Johnson

Journalists are unwittingly helping to make overturning Citizens United that much more difficult by humoring the pretense that Super PACs aren’t part of political campaigns.

Liars, damn liars, and political consultants...

"... the media props up the literal-minded libertarian notion that what Brock and Co. are doing is simply freely expressing a personally held political belief—rather than engaging in big donor–backed electioneering."

The Clintons didn't get this far without having friends in high places.

Once again, any victory Mrs. Clinton may eke out is based largely on fraud, foul play, closing out independents from voting, and using the mainstream media to set false frames that attempt to make Sanders look like the crooked candidate.

This is what happens when the media is deregulated to the point where Truth is its first and most tragic casualty.

Thank you, Adam.

Incisive article. thanks Adam.

And any victory which any D/R ekes out is based largely on fraud, foul play, closing out 3rd parties and using the MSM , and many prog sites, to set false frames like "can't win" and "spoiler" that attempt to make them look illegitimate or subversive ...

"This is what happens when the media is deregulated to the point where Truth is its first and most tragic casualty."

Indeed ...

#9

And too many "prog" sites" are complicit in the process ...

#10

" ...The “internet exemption” said that such free postings do not constitute campaign expenditures, allowing independent groups to consult with candidates about the content they post on their sites."

Ah, so that's how "prog" sites like this can get away with being Sanders cheerleaders ..
